Illegal Clefable?

The most common way to use the Magic Guard Clefable... Well... Of course, it's the Softboil healer!

But is it really legal, or possible to get a Clefable with both Magic Guard and Softboiled?

Since Softboiled is a move tutor move from third generation and Magic Guard is only available in the fourth...

Or is it possible that a Cute Charm Clefairy from 3rd gen. with Softboiled and then transferred into 4th gen. When evolving into Clefable, the Clefable will change its Cute Charm to Magic Guard?

btw I'm looking for someone with a good Clefable with both (Softboiled and Magic Guard)
 
This was actually addressed when I attempted to point out errors in Mekkah's Clefable set. He said that he got countless pms, and the answer was that upon evolution from clefairy to clefable, there was a slight chance for it to change ability.
