As you can see, Hypno has quite the diverse movepool. It regained the ability to Rest with the advent of Psychic Dream, although being immune to Sleep is very nice. It was one of the primary UU Special Walls in advance. How will it fare this time around?

Hypno @ Black Steel Orb
Careful Nature
EVs:
-Sneak
-Thunder Wave/Hypnosis
-Reflect
-Psycho Cutter/Seismic Toss
I can't remember the EVs, but it will survive Gengar's Shadow Ball automatically and trick the Black Steel Orb onto it. Also, feel free to edit.

Well, Hypno looks like a cool choice for Baton Pass teams. It can set up the screens, Scheme, and Calm Mind, all of which are very cool for such teams. Oh, and improved Hypnosis is awesome, too.

I would probably prefer Calm Mind on Hypno to Scheme... Hypno's tanking ability is what sets it apart, and it probably won't last long enough to sweep with Scheme given its low speed.

Also, as useless as Psychic Dream is, it lets Hypno use Rest, which could be handy.

this really needed an evolution in a good pokemon gets amazing type way ala rhydon. In advance it was just short of being a great OU special wall
Now it got an even better movepool but with the same old stats it cannot wall hardly any of the new special threats.

I would semi Agree with Misty, if you are going to keep Hypno in for the long haul, Calm Mind is the better route, but if you are going to Baton Pass, Scheme might be the way to go.

Admittedly, Psychic Dream isn't nearly as cool as it could have been, but you can potentially glean a lot of information out of it. For instance, if you're out against a Rhyperior and its Psychic Dream move shows up as Earthquake or Stone Edge, you know for sure that it doesn't have Megahorn.

Perhaps not a great example, but you get the idea.

I'd use Sneak with Adherance Scarf here, it actually helps you pull it off and it doesn't make things like Tyranitar and Snorlax as dangerous as Choice Band.

Obviously this thing will rule UU again with its nearly broken support and walling potential. It's also one of the many BL/UU Pokemon I can see finding their way into standard to Baton Pass something like Scheme, but the best recipients (Gengar, Azelf, Alakazam) share its weaknesses so that may not be the brighest idea.

Oh, and it's a Taunting Baton Passer. That's nice.
