In Battle: Legendaries or no?

I am relatively new to pokemon as a whole. And I just had a really odd question.

On the last post of this page and from then on, Players have been complaining about the use of non-uber legendaries in a competitive environment(FYI-My username is nightofshadow) Do you guys believe that non uber legendaries are bad to use in battle or do you really care?
 
I don't use legendaries at all. Cresselia and Heatran are the only ones I would even consider.

But sure, fine with me if they use them.
 
I don't mind battling people who use non-uber legendaries, but I choose not the use them. I prefer regular Pokes. I hate Cresselia, though. And Foresight + Sheer Cold Articuno. Hate.
 
I actually don't really care if you use non-ubers or not, as long as I'm having fun while battling you. That same goes with cheated pokemon but in a different way.
 
Some of them are really good... Articuno, Zapdos, Suicune, Raikou, Azelf for exapmle... But the thing is, that getting the right IVs seems a lot harder since you cant breed them. This fact make legendaries not-so-popular-pokes I think
