I have three Mons on my team right now and I wanted some feedback on any teammates I should add, or moves I should change, what have you. These are three of the Mons I used for my Game Clear, but I painstakingly searched for good natures and trained good EVs. Fortunately, and surprisingly, I got Pokérus mid-game, so that sped up the process.
Sawk @ Quick Claw
Jolly - Sturdy
4 HP - 252 Atk - 252 Spe
Close Combat
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Counter
My lead, with Sturdy, can survive any physical hit and Counter it back. The only time this doesn't work is against Dusknoir, Golurk, and any Mold Breaker Mons, including Reshiram and Zekrom. His Atk and Spe, as well as the Quick Claw, usually allow him to attack first with a CC, and lower his defenses, making a big Counter more likely. He's more of a Suicide lead than anything else.
Serperior @ Life Orb
Jolly - Overgrow
4 HP - 252 Atk - 252 Spe
Leaf Blade
Aerial Ace
Dragon Tail
Coil
I know Offensive Serperior shouldn't be used until Contrary is released, much less a physical attacker, but I wanted to give it a shot. His defenses are good enough to take any neutral hit, though super effective hits are pretty common, and his Atk and Spe are high enough to use Coil once or twice and be able to defeat most Pokés he comes up against.
Typhlosion @ Choice Specs
Timid - Blaze
4 HP - 252 SpA - 252 Spe
Flamethrower
Eruption
Focus Blast
Extrasensory
My one Special Attacker so far. I rarely use Focus Blast, but when I do I usually get lucky, and I only use it when its my only option. Same with Extrasensory. Eruption is usually the first move he uses, followed by whatever is best for the situation. I've found that most Waters I've battled have used a Water move which gives me a free switch-in to Serperior.
This team is mostly for show, battling my friends and the Battle Subway, so I don't worry about tiers or banned stuff. Feel free to rate or hate, whichever suits you. Any feedback is helpful.
