Each member of this rain team holds his or her own, and are capable of sweeping and supporting each other, in order to do so.

Thinking process...
Well for those of you who are into watching professional sports ( yes i realize how unrelated this is) as much as I watch the NHL, i tried to look at this team as if i were drafting players and forming a well built offensive team. The draft started with Politoed and from there it took off in the direction its gone in. Each member was selected and cut for various reasons helping me achieve what i have thus far. It's important to note that all the members i have previously used aren't necessarily impossible to be brought back, i would just need a very valid reason over what i have experienced from testing.

The team at last;

  • Hydro pump
  • Ice beam
  • Hidden power [grass]
  • Perish song

Politoed doesn't just serve as my rain set up, he acts as a viable option to revenge. Scarftoed can sweep and apply pressure as well as remove all other forms of weather. Perish song is to stop baton pass chains, and set up sweepers cold in their tracks. Hidden power grass works as a great answer to quagsire and especially gastrodon who annoys me to no end. Ice beam is for gliscor, landorus, and dragons. Hydro pump over surf and scald despite its shaky accuracy it nets me some important OHKOs. Focus blast is a piece of shit and i refuse to use it.

  • Swords Dance
  • Leaf Blade
  • Close Combat
  • Stone edge

    Virizion was originally a Latias. Then a Latios, all in desperate attempts to wall Rotom-W from running a muk (haha) on my team.
    But in the efforts while they were good at what they did, they left a huge weakness to not only blissey who would otherwise wall a huge portion of my team, not to mention ferrothorn perhaps...but it left me incredibly weak to Tyranitar and sand. The same can be said of Celebi wich is why Virizion is in this spot. I opted for SD over CM because i lack any real physical sweeper, aside from Dnite and leaving all of that to him is a ton of pressure to keep him healthy. Virizion answered my prayers with its physical SD set not only removing Blissey and TTar from sight but also scoring some notable KOs on Gyarados and especially Gastrodon and ferrothorn, all the while walling Rotom and KOing them aswell. Leaf Blade is my stab of choice, CC serves as my blissey and ttar remover, among others...And Stone edge was really just for coverage, as having HP ice might be a bit redundant seeing as i pack icebeam on 2 otehr pokemon. Swords dance is to boost my atk to sky high levels and
    help sweep.
