Infernape @ Choice Specs
Ability: Blaze
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Overheat
- Focus Blast
- Vacuum Wave
- Grass Knot

Blessed with amazing Special Attack and Speed stats and empowered with Choice Specs, Infernape is a near-unstoppable force. Overheat melts down physical walls such as Amoonguss, Bronzong, Avalugg, and Registeel. Focus Blast cleans up foes such as Incineroar, Choice Specs Porygon-Z, and Scrafty. Vacuum Wave reliably finishes off weakened foes such as Cinccino, Inteleon, and Choice Scarf Porygon-Z. Grass Knot punishes threatening foes such as Swampert, Gastrodon, and Paldean Tauros-W. Tera Fighting further boosts the power of Vacuum Wave and Focus Blast. However, Infernape can be worn down by entry hazards hazards; thus, it appreciates hazard removal from allies such as Cincinno and Avalugg. Defensive pivots like Swampert and Flygon help get Infernape on the field to wreak havoc while also providing entry hazard support. Other pivots like Munkidori and Kilowattral bait in Steel-types for Infernape to melt. Because of this, Infernape functions best on offensive, pivot-focused teams.

Blessed with amazing Spa and Speed stats and empowered with Choice Specs, Infernape lands devastating hits causing inevitable damage is a near-unstoppable force I don't really vibe with "invevitable" when both its main moves can miss LOL. Overheat melts down physical walls such as Amoonguss, Bronzong, Avalugg and Registeel. Focus Blast cleans up foes such as Incineroar, Choice Specs Porygon-Z and Scrafty. Vacuum Wave reliably finishes off weakened foes such as Cinccino, Inteleon and Choice Scarf Porygon-Z. Grass Knot punishes threatening foes such as Swampert, Gastrodon and Paldean Tauros-A. Tera Fighting further boosts the power of Vacuum Wave and Focus Blast. However Infernape can be worn down by hazards thus it appreciates hazard removal from allies such as Brambleghast and Tentacruel Cincinno and Avalugg. Vaporeon is another great partner which provides a Water immunity while also providing Wish support to Infernape. Munkidori and Flygon help pivot in Infernape on forced switches; Flygon also sets hazards on the field and Munkidori spreads poison in addition to the pivot. I like the content here but I'm gonna restructure it a little: Defensive pivots like Swampert and Flygon help get Infernape on the field to wreak havoc while also providing entry hazard support. Other pivots like Munkidori and Kilowattral bait in Steel-types for Infernape to melt. Because of this, Infernape functions best on offensive, pivot-focused teams.
