Pending Initial battle conditions

I would volunteer to help create a new simulator feature. This would allow HP, move PP (maxPP while at it), status condition (with status duration).

What this would allow:
  • Authentic 1v1 battles from Gen 1 (in Gen 1, one could go to fight without healing their Pokémon)
  • New game format where the player is given a puzzle to win a fight with only a few moves, HP left, or even asleep
  • The simulator could be more easily used by 3rd parties to create a more immersive Pokemon experience
My motives behind this:
I recently started to work on Showdown for Cobblemon, a Minecraft mod that adds Pokemons in a way that best matches Minecraft itself. The Cobblemon team did actually implement the features in their version of the simulator, but I do see a benefit to have in the original. All this while doing minimal changes to the current codebase and no breaking changes to the existing infrastructure.
