252 HP/40 Atk/216 Spe
Nature: Jolly
Item: Leftovers
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Roost
Stealth Rock

Standard Glis. Sets up Stealth Rock and tries to KO things that don't KO it.

252 Atk/252 Spe/4 HP
Nature: Adamant
Item: Citrus Berry
Flare Blitz
Iron Head
Extreme Speed
Crunch

I needed a good fire move and a strike-first move. He just so happened to have both! Plus, he's quite bulky. Citrus is to counter-balance Flare Blitz's recoil damage.

Nature: Bold
Item: Leftovers
Discharge
Shadow Ball
Substitute
Will-O-Wisp

Standard Rotom, the perfect wall!

Close Combat
Brave Bird
Return
U-Turn

Another standard set.

252 HP/252 Def/4 SpA
Nature: Bold
Item: Black Sludge
Surf
Ice Beam
Toxic
Rapid Spin

I needed a rapid spinner, and Tentacruel seemed best for this role, since he also provides me with a water and ice move.

252 HP/252 Def/4 Atk
Nature: Impish
Item: Leftovers
Spikes
Brave Bird
Whirlwind
Roost

Yet another standard set. Thrown in there because I wanted spikes and a counter to stat increasers .

Not much to say, sorry. The movesets are pretty standard, but they work quite well together. The triple weakness to electric sucks, but at least Rotom can resist it and Gliscor is immune. I also may have too many bulky pokemon. Yes/no?

The team has worked pretty well so far, but there is always room for improvement. Note: This is to be my in-game team. I only use shoddy to test.

Rule 3 said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

You need to improve on your descriptions. Have a look at some of the teams in the RMT archive to see what is expected. Descriptions such as "Another standard set" are not acceptable. Try and stay away from 1-2 line descriptions, aim for at least 3-4 lines. Explain why you chose a Pokemon, what it does, how it contributes to the success of the team, etc. If you fix the descriptions properly, PM me the changes; if they are sufficient enough, I'll unlock your thread.
