This team is quite new, and quite fun to use. I will post the importable if anyone asks me to, but i don't know if it's any good so.... Yeah. The more feedback the better! The pokemon sets were not made off anyone else's, so if they suck, please help me. Thanks everyone!
Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Leech Seed
A common setter, does his job well. His 3 weaknesses (Ground, fighting and fire) are null. I can switch out to Heatran if i suspect fire or ground(air balloon, flash fire) or i can switch out to charizard (flying) for just ground, for fighting i have gengar(Ghost type). I can beat most setters if i use leech seed, and gyro-ball is a good attacking move with 0 speed.
Heatran @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpA
Lonely Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SpA
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Rock Slide
With 2 throbbing 4x weaknesses to fire(Scizor and Ferrothorn), Quagsire can't do it by himself. I needed an immunity, and who better to do it than heatran? He makes easy work of the ever-common charizard y with rockslide, and then has sun and usually a flash fire boost to melt those in his path. Once his air balloon pops, he fears earthquake, but charizard can switch in for the save.
Quagsire @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
Impish Nature
- Curse
- Aqua Tail
- Recover
- Earthquake
This pokemon needs help. But setting up destroys my team, and most other teams without him. The curse set is quite uncommon, but it is incredible if you can take out special attackers. Giga drain, and most other grass-type moves, can destroy him, but he doesn't fear much else. People sometimes attempt to set up against him, which is free setup for me.
Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Trick
- Sludge Bomb
- Thunderbolt
Most people have not heard of the scarfed option, but I find it quite incredible. He can spinblock and outspeed every defogger/spinner that doesn't have a scarf. For setup sweepers and stallers, trick really helps. Sludge bomb and shadowball are stab, and thunderbolt is for coverage, since i don't have much of an answer for water types except charizard's solar beam.
Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Focus Blast
- Roost
This is quite a common set, and my mega for the team. It fits quite nicely. I have three steel types on this team, so the ground immunity, and the fire/fighting resistance is quite nice. Fire blast is a wonderful stab move, roost removes flying in scenerios where needed the hp recovering is nice, and solar beam and focus blast are for coverage.
Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk
Adamant Nature
IVs: 0 SpA
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- U-turn
- Defog
Defog was roost for a while, but when i took out Starmie (my spinner) defog replaced it. Swords dance is a great stat boosting move, and it boosts bullet punch to scary levels, which is already insane because of the life orb and technician boost. U-turn can get me out without wasting a turn, which is nice.
I hope i did this right, and I hope it doesn't suck too bad...
