Thunder Punch for Gyarados leads. This was decided after nearly being 6-0'd by a Gyarados, making realize I really needed a counter for it. Sets up Stealth Rock first turn, if enemy lead doesn't need to die (DDers, Spikers, etc.). Anyway, the enemy usually pushes him down to 1%, which allows a VERY powerful Flare Blitz, which acts like Explosion.
