Team Purpose: Optimally to set up Stealth rock, Toxic Spikes, and Spikes all at full levels.

Dubya (Infernape) (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Thunder Punch
- Stealth Rock
- Flare Blitz

Thunder Punch for Gyarados leads. This was decided after nearly being 6-0'd by a Gyarados, making realize I really needed a counter for it. Sets up Stealth Rock first turn, if enemy lead doesn't need to die (DDers, Spikers, etc.). Anyway, the enemy usually pushes him down to 1%, which allows a VERY powerful Flare Blitz, which acts like Explosion.

Femme Fatale (Roserade) (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/200 SAtk/52 SDef
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Is fitted with Toxic Spikes, and can subseed afterwards, provided it survives. Focus Sash ensures two layers of TSpikes, and Hidden Power surprises any Forretresses brave enough to try and switch in. Faster than a lot of things, but susceptable to Gengar.

la Fay (Froslass) (F) @ Brightpowder
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 244 HP/12 Def/252 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Spikes
- Thunder Wave
- Substitute
- Destiny Bond

Unchanged from the Smogon recommendation, because it just works so well. Paralyze so they hopefully switch, allowing Subspiking. Destiny Bond when finished.

Mudkipz (Swampert) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/180 Def/88 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Curse
- Roar
- Waterfall

Cursepert with Roar instead of Avalanche. Physical Wall that roars to spread the effects of Super Spiking. Can fight well too.

Tao Master (Suicune) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Roar
- Rest
- Surf

Standard. With this team, this kind of had to be here, right?

sm_houndoom.jpg

Balto (Houndoom) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 40 HP/216 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

A last resort of sorts. After Nasty Plot, hardly anything can stand up to this guy.

Try giving frosslass a sweeper set with shadow ball---thunderbolt---ice beam---Destinybond/spikes and a focus sash. That should help.

Change roserade to have a better move-set and no focus sash. (better meaning more attacks besides hidden power. Sludge bomb does WAY more to anything besides steels. It should lay the whoopin on celebi as well.) I say get scarf or specs for an offensive set. Get leftovers for sub-seed. Focus sash and substitute don't work together. That is all I can think of for now...
