hello!!! I just joined like.. an hour ago? Very new to the threads so originally posted in othermeta thread (sorry for bothering you dhelmise! /gen) so I think it's time for a proper introduction. Hello, I'm Semo/Jun (Jun preferred as of now) i'm a minor, and I use mirror pronouns ! it's nice to meet everyone and I hope we can be friends, this place looks so fun :D. My current hyperfixes are 금속 카드봇 (Metal Cardbot) (proud Jun kinnie) and tobot really all three series, but favorite is tobot v1 + 2, frankly any show that has sentient robots im latching on like a leech /silly but I also really enjoy catch! teenieping and of course, the reason why i'm here, pokemon but I have alot more, it's just me simply remembering it. I battle for fun mostly, winning is fun yeah but i'm really emotionally attached to my mons in my team, I give them so much love. I specialize in balanced/pure hackmons (mostly for the creative fun of it all) but I usually do custom games nowadays! I moved here so I can find people to battle as the META for balanced hackmons fucking sucks!

also I just realized that while the thread for the original is closed you guys can still see it on my page so there's also that! but if your too lazy to /silly /j here's a quoted ver expanding on my other statement :3

I specialize in pure/balanced hackmons, taught by one of my best friends (AcCelery, but I call him Coach :) today is his birthday!) but have started to move to custom game. Is there such a thing as fan teams? like, I know thats a thing. You assign a blorbo to a pokemon team that you thinks fits them the most. But, I don't think anyone has tried to make competitive. That changes now. I'm here because I want to play showdown while my Coach is absent and I hate the META so i'm heading over here to see if anyone wants to play/knows Metal Cardbot as a enjoyer of the show. From left to right; Bluecop, Mega Trucker, Mega Ambler, Phoenix Fire, Shadow X and Dexter! I love them so much and Coach has been helping me tweak them so they'll be better. I hope to make some friends on here too.

unfortunately smogoff isn't really the place to make a self introductory thread, especially since the environment here tends to invite jokey responses like the one above, so i will be locking this thread. if you want to discuss your interests with other people in earnest check out the congregation of the masses subforum - if a topic for something you're interested in doesn't already exist, feel free to create one! and if you're looking to introduce yourself to the other metagames community i would recommend checking out their discord server.
