Introduction to Me

Hey everybody, I know this isn't a Pokemon forum so I will not talk too much about it. I just wanted to say that I am new to this site and forum, and I have been getting interested in competitive battling, if anybody has any advice on how to get started or anything of the like, feel free to contact me via the site. I also hope that as I begin to get more involved that I could help out too somehow. Thanks!

P.S. I hope this doesn't anger anyone by talking about Pokemon, this just seemed like the most logical forum to post this in.

and plenty of material, including metagame discussion like viability rankings, teambuilding resources, roles compendiums and stuff, and also sample teams. http://www.smogon.com/forums/forums/overused.281/

check rate my team subforum aswell. http://www.smogon.com/forums/forums/rate-my-team.52/ people post its teams here and explain its choices and sets.

also, there are good youtubers providing pretty educational content. pokeaim (https://www.youtube.com/user/pokeaimMD) and blunder (https://www.youtube.com/user/Thunderblunder777) comes to mind, but there are others. after you get a little used to competitive battling, is cool to see their videos to catch their thought proccess while playing.
