In the news report the sign up button for the RanBats World Cup leads to an error page.

Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?
Yes
 
The Sign up link appears to be valid when I clicked it, even if I open the URL in a private window where im not signed into smogon. So it was probably already fixed.

For future reference, news post contents aren't managed by the development team so this doesn't qualify as a bug, think of it like content in a roomintro or typed into a chatbox. If theres typos or other issues, I recommend notifying the onsite help room which can pass it on to an administrator.
