I need some help!

Anyways, I bought this iPod Nano,

and I have album artwork for every single song that I have on the iPod.
When some of the songs play, the album artwork is black or just the little musical eighth note bullshit. So what I am wondering is if anyone has had a similar problem or knows how to remedy this situation, I have been browsing online and haven't seen anything that really helps with what I am looking for so.

uhh there is no problem or bug here

if you havent bought the album off itunes then it wont have any album artwork, unless you download a file with album artwork from limewire or something
the musical note is just telling you you have no album artwork for it

You need to go into iTunes, connect your iPod, and put the artwork in manually.

I did this and it worked for me:

- Connect the iPod with your PC (duh)
- Go to the "Music" tab
- Untick the "Display album artwork" box and click apply
- After iTunes is done removing all the artwork, tick the box "Display album artwork" and click apply

Right, I have manually put the album artwork in on every song, the weird thing is that it is not displaying the artwork from the few songs I actually bought from iTunes.

If that's the case, just Ctrl+i the individual song and apply the artwork (Wikipedia usually has the best images), I guess. If you've tried applying it to the album though, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Oddly enough, I had the opposite thing happen, where some songs on my ipod would show up as blank screen when I transfered them but the album artwork would show up upon playing the song.

If you purchased it form iTunes, maybe send a bug report?

Probably a good idea, yeah its really weird and I think I will and I will also see about some live support or something and I will post the solution, if any, the apple person gives me.

Also, they dont offer live support so I guess we must wait for an email response, this sounds tedious.

Just delete the artwork from your iPod, and find a new image (read: try wikipedia) and paste it into the artwork tab. Make sure the old one is deleted, then try checking it on your iPod.

I had this happen with my iPod Touch where the artwork for certain songs was black, and I just deleted them and found new ones from Wikipedia.

Yeah, you have to get artwork images online and put them into the album artwork tab. It's very tedious if you have a lot of albums. Album artwork is very nice to look at however, now that no one buys albums.
