iRamen's RMT that is ok or atleast i think is ok: MAJOR EDIT

The Team.. MAJOR EDIT 9/11 been on a 16game winning steak after changes on my team adding the Mag/Nite Combo
thumbnail.aspx
Jolly Azelf @ Colbur
252att/speed 4def
~Taunt- for slower leads such as Swampert and Smeargle or to destroy Ninjask
~StealthRock- a major priority to have
~Explosion- hehehe my favorite move and when a Tyranitar comes and try to chomp on Azelf, colbur will still be there and explodes leaving around 8-15% left on em'
~U-Turn- for Aerodactyl and Azelf leads then leave it to Jirachi or Flygon to finish them up

Azelf imo the best lead in the game the evs are a bit strange but maximizes explosion's damage. The only pokemon that beats the ev spread is Metagross, which isnt to bad because rotom will get him later. Machamp leads lose to it, payback + bullet punch can't defeat it.

thumbnail.aspx
Naive Jirachi @ Expert Belt 252/252/4def
~Iron Head- My favorite move on jirachi saved me many times before on flinching, you may look like a d-bag using it but hey, a win is a win if no hacking is involved
~Ice Punch- For the dragons Flygon and Dragonite and its fun to catch the Flygon off guard with icepunch and celebi and breloom pay from ice punch too
~Fire Punch- for dam Magnezones and Scizors for good K.O's
~Grass Knot- to deal with Swampert and Vap

Ahh... yes Scarfrachi the first pokemon I ever ever used when started on shoddy, when SUB/WISH:CMJirachi was all over and loved it ever since. Revenge Kill, Flinch, and Sweep, Jirachi you're amazing. Jirachi is part of my Dragon/Steel core with Flygon which destroys most cores such as Jolt/Gyra or the Gengar/Mag/TTar but falls to the Skarm/Bliss core- Changed Scarf Rachi to MIXRACHI!

thumbnail.aspx
Mixnite Rash @ LO 116att/192spatt/204sp
~Draco Meteor- hits everything hard that doesn't resist it, very painful
~Superpower- to get blissey and snorlax
~Flamethrower- skarmory and forrestress
~Roost- to heal and get rid of the 4x ice weakness
Dragonite has been changed over flygon because I already had a scarfer Rotom, Dragonite is a fearsome sweeper and wallbreaker with his buddies Jirachi, and Magnezone. In and all i like the freedom of switching attacks instead of being locked on 1 attack

thumbnail.aspx
Timid Rotom W @ Scarf 252/252 4def
~T-Bolt- main stab move that hits everything that doesn't resist it hard. 1HKO's to Vaporeon and Suicune and gets a good 2HKO from Zapdos.
~Shadow Ball- Second useful stab that nails Swampert, Opposing Ghosts and 1HKO's Breloom
~Hydro Pump- not a stab but a very important move that gets Tyranitar, and Gliscor as the most notable mentions
Trick on Rotom W that helps get walls down such as snorlax or blissey

Rotom W been using this set for awhile and been very important in battles. Getting notable kills to lucky Lucarios and Suicune which hit pretty hard. Rotom provides some very key resistence to the team such as Fighting to warn of Infernape from Ttar and ground to help Jirachi-change to scarf to get Nape and Starmie

thumbnail.aspx
Timid Magnezone @ leftovers 252/252 4 def
~Thunderbolt- main stab and gets the trapped steels
~Hp Grass- I didnt want hp fire since Nite and Jirachi has a Fire move so i sticked with grass to pick on Swampert
~Sub- nice move since steels usually attack my team with steel attacks, guranteed mag will have a sub
~Magnet Rise to resist dumb earthquakes leaving mag w/ a fire/fighting weakness left

I replaced submachamp with God...wait i mean magnezone. I do miss champ a lot but magnezone was a better choice for my team. Previously I lost most of my battles to Bullet Punch but no more! mag takes a BP Sub! Then T-Bolt or maybe Magnet Rise

thumbnail.aspx
Offensive Suicune 252/252/4def timid
~Surf- main stab attack attacks everything from heatran to tyranitar
~Hp Electric- just for water types like gyra
~Ice Beam- for the dragons and flyings like flygon and nite
~Calm Mind- a little boost that does a lot
Previously Champ, Then Shaymin, replaced Shaymin because i developed a Fire weakness then suicune came along as special sweeper and blocking infernape
I usually want him as a late game sweeper but I'll put him out early if i had to

PREVIOUS MEMBERS
thumbnail.aspx
JollyFlygon @ Scarf 252/252 4def

~Outrage- a nice stab move to have around and gets other Flygons and Dragonites that try to sweep
~EQ- a very important move to have as it gets Ttar's and Heatrans that try to get Jirachi
~U-Turn- gets scouting and a move that can get weakend Ttar's and gets celebi hard
~Fire Blast- my attempt to try to get skarmory's hp

Flygon part of my Dragon/Steel duo and served very well as a team mate. Serves as a scout and taking the fireblasts from opposing pokemon to save Jirachi's butt. And probably the most important he is able to counter the ever so deadly Lucario and Infernape

thumbnail.aspx
Sub Champ Adamant @ leftovers
252att/245hp/5speed
~D-Punch- a really fun move that confuses pokemon that makes them go insane and implies the term stop hitting yourself
~Payback- mainly for ghosts or for some neutral damage to conserve D-Punch's PP
~Stone Edge- just for Gyra and Zapdos knocking them
~Sub- the key to Machamp's success as when a pokemon is confused and he will turn on the sub and hide in there and finish the kill and it blocks status

Machamp is the most annoying fly that cant be whacked or killed off that easily. The Confuse + Sub combo is very frustrating to any team as it is almost guaranteed a Kill. The 5 hp ev's are just to outrun other Machamp

thumbnail.aspx
Bait Tar Hasty @ Babiri 252/18satt/240sp
~Flamethrower- baits in Foretress and Scizor for a knock out and surviving a Bullet Punch thanks to babiri
~Superpower- to get Blissey and Heatrans who try to pass through his way
~Stone Edge- main stab move and nails everything hard like Gyra and Zapdos
~Pursuit- Traps ghosts like Gengar and Rotom o- yeah can't forget about Celebi

Yesss baittar hes just bait waiting to kill Scizors, Brelooms, Skamorys. Outside of baiting hes pretty decent dealing heavy damage to the opposing team and faking a choiced item. And the sandstream is very helpful to Flygon who gets the 50% spdef boost which comes in handy and saves his butt a couple times and the ability to stop rainteams

thumbnail.aspx
Timid Shaymin @ LO 252/252/4def
~Seed Flare- a very, very nice move STAB + a chance of lowering sp def
~Earth-Power sometimes I predict a in coming Heatran and gets slower firetypes usually resulting in a K.O
~HP Ice- was orignally HP Fire but...i have magnezone now! scizor and forretress are gonners, and Ice is for things like Roserade and Nite
~Rest- to get full hp very handy and saved my butt a couple times
Shaymin over TTar was a wonderful choice defeating 1-4 pokemon in a battle and my favorite sweeper on the team covering a handful of pokemon with ease

Hello,

This already looks like a fairly solid team, to be honest. With Colbur Azelf and your Scarfers, you've pretty much established a plan to deal with most opponents. However, there are some problems that I'd like to address.

Notable Threats

  • Infernape
This isn't too big of a problem, but Infernape is definitely able to hit every member of your team hard with one of its attacks. It won't sweep you clean, since you have Flygon to revenge kill it, but Swords Dance sets with priority could be troublesome. You'll just need to play carefully around it, and Rotom can switch into Close Combats to check it.

  • LO Starmie
Quite a large threat to your team, actually. Starmie's high speed and attacking stats along with its great coverage ensure that it is more than capable of 2HKOing every team member. Flygon can switch in on a Thunderbolt to U-Turn it for some damage, but the main problem is actually baiting that Thunderbolt; you don't have any Water-types on this team, or any Water resists for that matter.

Suggestions

  • Replace Choice Scarf on one of your Pokemon
Having two Choice Scarf users is a bit redundant. It's unnecessary for both Flygon and Jirachi to have this item, so I'd suggest you keep Flygon the way it is, and switch Jirachi to something like the Mixed Attacker set, which I'll post below:

Jirachi @ Expert Belt
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive nature (+Spe, -SpD)
- Iron Head
- Ice Punch
- Fire Punch
- Grass Knot

This is an outstanding Jirachi set. It retains enough speed to check Lucario with Fire Punch, while containing enough surprise value to net several kills. Common switch-ins to Jirachi such as Gliscor and Swampert can both be KO'd after a bit of residual damage, and Iron Head is of course useful for the STAB and flinch rate. Thunderbolt in the last slot, but I feel that Grass Knot would benefit you more because you have less ways to deal with Swampert, which you can now net a surprise KO on.

Good luck with your team!

@above ehh i try not to lure a t-bolt usually get a icebeam the uturn it into a t-punch by jirachi, tried it and starmie became more problemetic outspeeding jirachi

Hey I got your message!

Before I rate, sandstorm does not boost Flygon's special defense, that's only rock types.

This team looks solid enough, but I'm troubled by the fact that you have 3 choiced Pokemon, two of which are scarfs. Add that to the fact that you have no sweeper per say and this team looks pretty unbalanced. I think a good change would be to make Jirachi a Wish Calm Mind set, for several reasons. Firstly, this team will really, really appreciate Wish support, considering the sandstorm and high influx of choice users. Secondly, Jirachi sets up on most bulky waters and has Thunderbolt to dispose of them. This works excellently for the team.

Bait tar seems pretty silly to me, why do you want to kill Skarmory, Scizors and Brelooms, do you have a sweeper to benefit from the removal of these guys? I think a DDTar would be better for your purposes, because again you need sweepers and if you run Fire Punch + Babiri Berry, he'll still actually inflict some really heavy damage on the above Pokemon.

That's all I got, hope this helps.

I think he wants to keep his catch-all Jirachi really badly, I suggest Mixed Flygon or Bluffgon, the mixed set you can find on-site with Draco Meteor over Outrage if i remember correctly and max+ investment in SAtk. Bluffgon you can ask around in Shoddy..

Threats
Faladran has covered the important parts already, but...
Huge Weakness to Water types
Offensive Suicune, Life Orb Starmie, Gyarados, Infernape

How they're threats
Nothing on your team can even dream about come in on a Hydro Pump or Waterfall from these three. Rotom only checks Suicune because its faster, Starmie will outspeed and punch holes in your team with Hydro Pump alone. Yeah sure, Flygon checks Gyarados, but it won't like a LO Waterfall. Infernape can force Jirachi and Tyranitar out, and be a nuisance with Nasty Plot especially with Vacuum wave, that can kill Flygon after prior damage

Solutions
Try out a simple Wish support Vaporeon over Tyranitar, imo the weakest link. Scizor, Skarmory and Forretress are already checked by Rotom, Blissey falls to Machamp, and Heatran to Flygon. Breloom will just spore you lol, and threaten to KO with Focus Punch. Its not like Tyranitar removing any of these is going to benefit your team, because other members can already handle the threats Tyranitar handles. Anyway, give Vaporeon Wish|Surf|Protect|Hidden power electric, 216 Def/60 HP/232 Sp Def Bold. With this you possess decent Physical and Special Bulk to tank hits from gyarados and starmie, as well as a myriad of other attackers. Try this over Tyranitar and you have a decent Infernape check.

Stall gives you problems at first glance, nothing bar Machamp can do anything to it. I suggest replacing Jirachi with Taunt Life Orb Heatran, and give Flygon Stone Edge over Fire Blast. Taunt LO Heatran will give you a much needed way to handle stall, by taunting Blissey, and crushing it with repeated Fire Blasts. Give it 252 Satk/4Sdef/252Spe Timid nature, Fire Blast|Earth Power|Taunt|Hidden power Grass. try this spread on Flygon: 48 HP / 232 Atk / 228 Spe with a Jolly nature, to always take a +2 Jolly Extremespeed from Lucario, Adamant Versions are outsped by Rotom anyway, and fried by boosted Thunderbolt.

So summary:
Vaporeon>Tyranitar
Heatran>Jirachi
Stone Edge>Fire Blast on Flygon
Flygon's spread changed to survive +2 Jolly Extremespeed from Lucario

Anyway, good luck in the future!

Well I received a second message, so I guess I'll try to help you out some more.

Really the synergy looks pretty great here, steel/dragon is great in the current metagame and you have water types handled well enough, so I'll just nitpick.

Because of the way you wrote your EVs, I can't tell what stats you have, you need to specify those. But I'm going to assume atk or spatk / spe. At any rate I think Rotom should run HP over special attack, he needs the bulk to switch into Starmie, Gyarados and Suicune repeatedly without getting worn down. Special attack isn't as important as you still scare them off pretty reliably.

On Azelf, use the colbur lead EVs on set, the bulk they provide allow you to beat leads besides Machamp.

Sorry I couldn't say more, the team looks solid and you've taken care of most of the problems addressed in the first rate (albeit in a different manner). Hope this helps.

Rating by request.

Hi iRamen, sorry it took me so long to rate your team. I've been on vacation for the last week and a half or so, so I haven't had any spare time to rate teams in a while. This is a pretty solid team you have here, especially for a user with only 5 posts! There are a few changes I would like to suggest which could really help you out even more, though. First of all, your Colbur Azelf lead's EV spread could use a little tweaking. The one on-site is actually very efficient. Here is the exact set:

Azelf @ Colbur Berry
Jolly, 8 HP / 140 Atk / 144 SpD / 216 Spe
Levitate
-Taunt
-Stealth Rock
-U-turn
-Explosion

This spread allows you to survive everything you need to vs. other common leads, and still packs a punch with Explosion. The next change I would like to see is a combination of things. First of all, although I think Mix Dragonite is very good, I think Dragon Dance Dragonite fits your team even better. The specific set I am recommending is:

Dragonite @ Life Orb
Adamant, 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4 SpD
Inner Focus
-Dragon Dance
-Extremespeed
-Outrage
-Fire Punch

This set will give your team a much needed priority attack in the form of Extremespeed, while also putting some great offensive pressure on. Alternatively, you could try out your current set with Extremespeed over Roost, but the main thing I wanted to see here is a nice priority option. The Dragon Dance set does a better job at luring out Scizor's Bullet Punch, too, which works even better with Magnezone. If you opt for Dragon Dance over Mixed, though, you open yourself up to being weak against stall teams. To fix that, I would like to suggest you change your offensive Suicune to a version with Rest. A set that I personally love and have used to huge success in the past is:

Suicune @ Leftovers
Timid, 252 HP / 220 Spe / 36 SpA
Pressure
-Calm Mind
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Rest

This set breaks stall, while also maintaining some offensive pressure. Of course, this leaves you a little bit weaker to Gyarados, so here I would like to recommend changing Jirachi's Grass Knot to Thunderbolt. This will take away a Pokemon that Gyarados can set up on, while still laying the hurt on Vaporeon. You already have Hidden Power Grass on Magnezone to get the surprise KO on Swampert, so I feel like this is overall a better choice (it allows you to not get set up on by Skarmory as well!). Finally, as a personal preference, I like to use either Explosion or Charge Beam in Magnezone's last slot instead of Magnetic Rise. Sure with Magnetic Rise you eliminate a weakness, but you are usually behind a Substitute anyways, so it's better to be able to dish out the damage instead. Anyways, I hope you found my rate useful, and best of luck in the future!
