Iron Treads rolls into the metagame with unstoppable force, blending speed, power, and utility into one steel-clad menace! Offensive teams value Iron Treads's ability to set and remove entry hazards while also providing a decent check to Pokemon like Tapu Koko and Tapu Lele, which can be quite annoying to these types of teams. Stealth Rock pressures common Pokemon that like to switch into Iron Treads like Landorus-T and Alomomola, forcing them to take entry hazard damage repeatedly as they switch in. Ice Spinner nails Gliscor, Tornadus-T, and the aforementioned Landorus-T, discouraging them from switching in and either setting or removing hazards. Rapid Spin keeps entry hazards off the field for teammates like Iron Valiant and Kyurem and enables Iron Treads to outpace Pokemon like Tornadus-T and Mega Latios after +1. Iron Treads can struggle in the face of foes like Ogerpon-W and Urshifu-R; therefore, partners like Raging Bolt and Dragonite are appreciated. In return they appreciate Iron Treads's ability to switch in on foes such as Tapu Lele and Hatterene.

Stealth Rock pressures common Pokemon that like to switch into Iron Treads like Landorus-T and Corviknight Alomomola Corv just fogs the hazards away and roosts without much cost, forcing them to take entry hazard damage repeatedly as they switch in. Ice spinner nails Gliscor, Tornadus-T and the aforementioned Landorus-T, discouraging them from switching in and either setting or removing hazards. Rapid Spin rounds out the true utility of Iron Treads to keep entry hazards of the field for teammates like Iron Valiant and Raging Bolt Kyurem mentioning something rocks weak is good to show what kinds of mons really like treads capability as a spinner + kyurem is rlly good rn especially the bootsless stuff picking up usage while bolt is falling off a cliff. Rapid Spin also enables Iron Treads to outpace Pokemon like Tornadus-T and Weavile weav is like fine but you may want to replace it with a more relevant example like Diancie / latios? Up to you but I like the lati idea after +1.
