Sigilyph @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 176 HP / 164 SpA / 168 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psycho Shift
- Cosmic Power
- Stored Power
- Air Slash
Sigilyph is a good support, transferring status. And even potential to sweep with Cosmic power & Stored power combo.

Hitmontop @ Leftovers / Assault vest
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Sucker Punch
- Rapid Spin
- Close Combat Bulky hitmontop, is the best in my OPINION. Fake out to do some early damage, and Assault vest to boost hitmontop crazy special defense. Or you can gain some hp steadily with leftovers. Hitmontop is my fav poke btw.

Tangrowth @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 156 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA / 92 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leech Seed
- Sludge Bomb
- Amnesia
- Giga Drain
Tangrowth can be very good with its ability regenerator. You can use Amnesia to try to boost Tangrowth's very low sp defense. This Tangrowth can be very stally with leftover, leech sees, and giga drain, great for when they get poisoned with sludge bomb.

Simipour @ Petaya Berry
Ability: Gluttony
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Nasty Plot
- Ice Beam
- Hydro Pump
With gluttony you can eat Peteya Berry a bit early then 1/4. And simipour can atleast take 1 hit, that turn you can use nasty plot. With timid and 252 ev's in speed you can probably sweep with a 3 stage boost in special attack.

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Outrage
- Head Smash
- Iron Head
Tyrantrum can definintly take up some hits with his monstrous defense. Head smash for some heavy dudy stab choiced Rock head, and Iron head for those pesky fairies.
rhydon_by_creepyjellyfish-d7a4940.gif

Rhydon @ Eviolite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature

hi, cool team. i have a few changes to help improve the viability of the team, lets get into the changes. :]

pokemon changes

I would recommend using Samurott over Simipour. Simipour lacks coverage, is very frail and requires set up to run effectively making it very niche. Samurott possesses similar characteristics to Simipour however has a strong wallbreaking prowess with a set of hydro pump/grass knot/ice beam/taunt. This nice coverage allows this mon to 2hko most of the tier while being able to wallbreak efficiently by taunting mons that can check it like spdef alomomola. Samurott also forms a nice offensive synergy with tangrowth which beats bulky waters, while samurott beats fires which makes them a very effective core. Defensive synergy is also decent with each other resisting at least one of the other's weaknesses.

Rhydon does not have a lot of viability in this tier due to it's reliance of eviolite, no passive recovery as a bulky mon and its lack of good abilities. Rhyperior is definitely a better choice with the ability of solid rock, leftovers and good bulk. Therefore I would recommend Rhyperior over Rhydon. This is due to the passive recovery with the help of leftovers and being able to check tyrantrum which is definitely needed as it will be your primary check. I would recommend running a set of stealth rock/ice punch/rock blast/earthquake. Ice punch differs from the megahorn and roar set that is typically run as it hits flygon and virizion on the switch in supereffectively which is very beneficial in checking the two mons as it usually checked greatly by them. Rhyperior also provides a nice fletchinder check which your team needs as well as the ability to get up stealth rocks which is of great significance.

move / item / ev changes

Cosmic + Stored power is a very gimmicky and rarely viable set as it is a crit magnet and requires a bit of set up to even remotely work. I would recommend trying a set of Psycho Shift/Calm Mind/Roost/Air Slash with Flame Orb. This set can act as a decent fighting check while punishing fighting types like scarf medicham with passing the burn through psycho shift. This set can also aid in checking mons like venusaur as your team lacks a decent check to it and it can switch in on sludge bomb and leaf storm and punish it with air slash or predict the switch and roost. Running a max hp and max speed spread on this Sigilyph will be sufficient to maximize bulk and make sure it outspeeds key threats like Drapion and Houndoom.

237.png
On Hitmontop I would recommend running toxic over fake out. Toxic can punish bulky waters that come in like Alomomola and Jellicent (attempting to spinblock). Fake out is very weak, especially that it is stabless, and has very little merit in using. I would also Recommend an EV spread change to MAX HP and MAX Def in order to maximize physical bulk. This is needed as Hitmontop has very high natural special defense and a higher defense helps you check more mons with intimidate effectively. Also, I would definitely recommend carrying leftovers over assault vest at all times as hitmontop really appreciates leftovers recovery as a spinner and needs it to run toxic.

465.png
On Tangrowth I recommend a change to assault vest as is it more helpful in increasing bulk as paired with regenerator it can gain health by switching out. An EV spread that i would recommend would be max hp and max spdef. This allows you to check venusaur and all variants of virizion which can be a threat to this team. A set that works with this is Giga Drain / Knock Off / Aerial Ace / Focus Blast. Giga drain is preferred over leaf storm on av variants as you have a heavy reliant on special attack and prefer it not being lowered. Knock off helps in crippling mons you can't touch like togetic and golbat, through knocking off their eviolite. Aerial ace is used to combat virizion and other grass types like Venusaur while focus blast hits steels supereffectively and is useful against mega steelix and registeel.

697.png
Due to a lack of speed control on this team, I would recommend changing Tyrantrum to a choice scarf set. Scarf should preferably run max speed max atk, with a jolly nature. This allows you to revenge kills mons that can be threatening to you. I would recommend running superpower > stone edge as head smash is the only rock stab needed and superpower is definitely required in hitting steels and rocks supereffectively. Iron head should be switched to dragon claw as Tyrantrum should have an alternative dragon stab that does not lock it into outrage, allowing it to be revenged by a fairy. Iron head is only for diancie and head smash 2hkos everytime, anyways.
