Terrain Attacker (Regieleki) @ Choice Specs / Heavy-Duty Boots / Magnet
Ability: Transistor
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Rising Voltage
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Ancient Power / Rapid Spin

[SET COMMENTS]
Regieleki functions as a fearsome wallbreaker on Electric teams thanks to its blistering Speed alongside a stunningly powerful Electric STAB move in Terrain-boosted Rising Voltage, being able to 2HKO even the most stalwart of neutral checks such as Assault Vest users like Galarian Slowking and Alolan Muk as well as slightly less specially sturdy Electric-resistant Pokemon such as Ferrothorn and Mega Altaria. Thunderbolt offers a secondary STAB option for consistent Electric-type damage outside of Electric Terrain, while Volt Switch allows Regieleki to soften up its answers such as Porygon2 and bring in partners to either set up Electric Terrain for it or deal with the foe currently on the field. Ancient Power hits Volcarona harder than an Electric-type STAB move would while also giving Regieleki a chance to become more threatening with an omniboost. Rapid Spin allows Regieleki to have some utility outside of its sheer attacking prowess, letting it help its team if there is a Ground-type switching into it. Choice Specs allows Regieleki to annihilate nearly anything that isn't Blissey or a very specially bulky Electric-resistant foe, while Heavy-Duty Boots lets Regieleki function much better as a Rapid Spin user as well as a pivot, and Magnet allows Regieleki to not get punished as much for clicking a move.Tapu Koko is a mandatory teammate, as it deals very good damage to Ground-types like Great Tusk, Landorus, and Mamoswine that otherwise stuff Regieleki, and it sets up Electric Terrain to boost Regieleki's Rising Voltage to the heights of its power. Zapdos and Rotom-W both deal with Ground-types such as Great Tusk and Landorus-T with Hurricane and Hydro Pump, while giving Regieleki a pivot to bring it in. Furthermore, both come with unique benefits as well - Zapdos deals with Grass-types like the aforementioned Ferrothorn and Mega Venusaur if Regieleki cannot immediately break through them, while Rotom-W offers entry hazard control through Defog as well as a stopgap to dangerous physical attackers like Iron Boulder thanks to Will-O-Wisp. Iron Hands provides both a way to deal with pesky special walls like Blissey and Hisuian Goodra as well as a slow pivot for Regieleki. Zeraora pairs well with Regieleki, as both are incredible attackers physically and specially, respectively, and they chip down each others' checks well. In particular, Zeraora deals with Blissey and Hisuian Goodra, major annoyances for Regieleki, while Regieleki sweeps away physically defensive Mega Venusaur.

- I dont see no mentions of why to run HDB or Magnet over Specs on Regieleki. Are we only running boots when paired with Rapid Spin?? is Magnet just nice to have so your not choice locked into a unfavorable position??

- I'd remove Ting-Lu and Lando-T as an example on Koko handling as we do shitty damage to Ting Lu while it just flat out OHKO us Lando-t running scarf so gg. I would put it with rotom wash since it can just check it comfortably via ground immunity, Pump and hindering it with wisp. Add Mamoswine and Lando-i as a mon koko takes out. I would also highlight how Koko deals with dragon threats for regieleki as well

"In return, Regieleki provides hazard control, albeit mediocre, which lets Tapu Koko come in more often throughout the game."
- I would just remove this entierely as were not always running rapid spin + have rotom w to defog hazards.

"Zapdos and Rotom-W both deal with Ground-types such as Great Tusk and Landorus-T thanks to their secondary STAB moves in Hurricane and Hydro Pump alongside their Ground immunities, whether through their natural typing or Levitate, while both offering pivoting opportunities for Regieleki to come in and wreak havoc."
- I would just say: Not only Zapdos and Rotom-W provides a Ground immunity for Regieleki, but they also give pivoting while handling Great Tusk and Landorus-T with Hurricane and Hydro Pump. just read weird / clunky

"Both come with unique benefits as well - Zapdos deals with Grass-types like the aforementioned Ferrothorn and Mega Venusaur if Regieleki cannot immediately break through them while Rotom-W offers hazard control through Defog as well as a stopgap to dangerous physical attackers like Great Tusk thanks to Will-O-Wisp."
- I would just add in Furthermore at the start as well, so like Furthermore, both come with... take off Tusk and mention another physical mon, (too much mentions of tusk.) add in iron boulder instead.

- For Iron Hands talk about how it deals with special walls for regi instead of the ground types, every teammate for regi is handling ground, just too repetitive. (you can keep the slow pivoting part tho.)

" Zeraora deals with Blissey and Hisuian Goodra, a major annoyance for Regieleki, while Regieleki sweeps away physically defensive Mega Venusaur. Zeraora also deals with Dragon-types like Hisuian Goodra and Garchomp thanks to Play Rough."

QC 1/2 after implements well done. :Arcanine:

Regieleki functions as a fearsome wallbreaker on Electric teams thanks to its blistering Speed stat alongside a stunningly powerful Electric STAB move in terrain-boosted Rising Voltage, being able to 2HKO even the most ardent of neutral checks such as Assault Vest Galarian Slowking and Assault Vest Alolan Muk as well as slightly less specially sturdy Electric-resistant Pokemon such as Ferrothorn and Mega Altaria. Thunderbolt offers a secondary option for consistent Electric STAB damage outside of Electric Terrain, while Volt Switch allows Regieleki to soften up its answers such as Porygon2 and bring in its partners to either set up Electric Terrain for it or deal with the foe currently on the field. Rapid Spin allows Regieleki to have some utility outside of its sheer attacking prowess, letting it help its team if there is a Ground-type switching into it. Choice Specs allows Regieleki to annihilate nearly anything that isn't Blissey or a very specially bulky resistance, while Heavy-Duty Boots allows Regieleki to function much better as a Rapid Spin user and a pivot and Magnet allows Regieleki to not get punished as much for clicking a move. Tapu Koko is a mandatory teammate, as it sets up Electric Terrain to boost Regieleki's Rising Voltage to the heights of its power and deals very good damage to Ground-types like Great Tusk, Landorus-I, and Mamoswine, allowing Regieleki to break through or even potentially win the game on its own once those answers are sufficiently chipped. (This is a bit offputting to read as the topic of Ground-types are what Tapu Koko checks. I'd reword this to not confuse the reader. Perhaps state something like Ground-type threats such as;. At first glance one would question how Regieleki would remotely defeat Ground-types after removing 1 of the 3. Just a simple rewording on this will do! <3)Zapdos and Rotom-W both deal with Ground-types such as Great Tusk and Landorus-T with Hurricane and Hydro Pump, while both giving Regieleki a pivot in. In particular, Zeraora deals with Blissey and Hisuian Goodra, major annoyances for Regieleki, while Regieleki sweeps away physically defensive Mega Venusaur.
