Is this a joke post?
My comments in blue, Subject 18's in red

The answer is yes. This is a team that Subject 18, ShootingStarmie, and I made during the RMT activity where you build with experienced official team raters. We decided to build around Mega Gardevoir, an extremely underrated threat at the time. Now, Mega Gardevoir is a known threat, single-handedly wrecking stall teams and murdering offense with the right support. But when we made this team about a month ago, this was not the case. I know both Subject 18 and I have used this team to great success. Tony made it to round 4 of smogon tour with it and only quit because he had to leave. I stopped laddering for the most part, but I have used this team and won in Sneak tour as well as some better players like Tesung and Nog (undefeated my ass, fren :]). I think the main reason we decided to RMT this now is that it showcases the incredibly effective Mega Gardevoir/Bisharp/Keldeo core. They support each other so well and actually have really good synergy with each other both offensively and defensively. Obvious weaknesses to the core (flying spam, rain, setup sweepers) are fixed with the other teammates. Please note that this team was built a while ago so the team isn't very up to date.
Hi. I don't normally post RMT's but recently Halcyon. and I made a team together that we feel is good enough to share. I've used it in a Smogon Tour and it was pretty successful there, then I've used it in a couple of other matches like Sneak and it won me a game there as well. Basically, its a pretty standard Hyper Offensive team with a more underrated threat in Mega Gardevoir. Like most Hyper Offensive teams, its fairly straight forward and somewhat auto-pilot but then again most Deo-D HO teams are that way. Despite being built before the rise of Sash Breloom and Sand Rush Excadril, the team does handle those trends fairly well.

Deoxys-Defense @ Mental Herb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 216 HP / 40 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Superpower
I, for one, never understood the fascination with Red Card on Deoxys-D. You have Taunt to stop setup sweepers and the rest of any team should be able to stop stuff like +1 Charizard anyway. The point is, I find Mental Herb much MUCH more useful. Being able to get a guaranteed layer of Hazards up is awesome. Taunting opposing Deo-Ds and not caring about the speed tie is also great (though Magic Coat is annoying). Anyway, Deoxys-D is broken af and does what it does better than anything else: set up hazards and die. People say that Deoxys usually gets 1-2 layers but in my experience it gets 2-3 easily. This makes it incredibly easy for Mega Gardevoir to destroy as Heatran Scizor and Aegi hate being forced out and taking repeated hazard damage + Hyper Voice.

Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace / Pixilate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Taunt
Oh man Mega Gardevoir is a complete monster. Pixilate Hyper Voice is insanely strong, and its Speed tier is actually not really an issue, since it already naturally checks Keldeo, Greninja, Latios, Latias, Thundurus, and other Pokemon with faster Speed tiers than it. Taunt is definitely the most valuable ove on the set after Hyper Voice. Taunt can destroy stall, simple as that. Psyshock Chansey on the switch, Taunt as they try to recover, win. That's pretty much how every match with Gardevoir versus stall goes. Not to mention Bisharp is there to provide Pursuit support in a pinch anyway. Focus Blast is nice for hitting Ferrothorn, which is kind of a problem otherwise.

Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Pursuit
It's not a secret that Bisharp is one of the best Pokemon in the tier, and it is partially responsible for full stall not being the best play style imo. As if Taunt Gardevoir wasn't enough, Bisharp can Pursuit trap Chansey to wear it down even more. On top of that, Bisharp is a great check to Aegislash, which is one of the biggest threats to Mega Gardevoir, being able to Knock Off or Pursuit trap it if it tries too switch out. I have considered using Swords Dance before, but trapping Latios and Latias is way too useful for Keldeo. Overall this Pokemon just pairs really well with the rest of the team.

Keldeo @ Lum Berry
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Flying]
If I were to question any member of the team, it would be Keldeo. Not that Keldeo isn't useful, but I honestly don't know how I feel about Calm Mind. It makes for a good cleaner occasionally, but I'm not completely sold on CM's effectiveness. That being said Lum Berry Keldeo is fantastic for being able to switch into Amonguss' and Breloom's Spore (although it can only KO it if Sash has been broken). We have Bisharp for taking out Lati@s as well as Mega Garde for Venusaur, so on paper this set should do ok with the rest of the team. Being able to take on Thundurus at +1 is also pretty nice.

Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast
- Thunder Wave
Thundurus is always a useful Pokemon. Thunder Wave is fantastic in conjunction with Mega Gardevoir, and Bisharp, being able to slow things down if they threaten those two. More importantly, Thundurus acts as a check to setup sweepers that Excadrill can't beat like Mega Gyarados. Furthermore, this team was built when Ferrothorn was just barely becoming a thing, so Focus Blast wasn't coming back at the time. This made Thundurus a decent lure to Ferrothorn and Excadrill, which both give Mega Gardevoir and Bisharp some trouble.

Excadrill @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Rapid Spin
Excadrill is a very valuable member of the team, being a good check to setup sweepers like Adamant Zard X and can check other threats like Talonflame, Mega Pinsir, and Thundurus. Iron Head can come in handy to for getting solid damage on fairy types like Sylveon and CM Clefable. The team also really doesn't appreciate hazards, as Thundurus gets worn down by Stealth Rock and everything else takes Spikes damage. So Excadrill's ability to not only do all the other stuff we needed it to but also spin made it the logical choice for our sixth mon.
Notable threats:
The biggest threat to the team is Azumarill. It's really problematic as nothing can switch into it, although I've noticed that this is true of most hyper offense teams. Thundurus is the best we have, but it gets worn down if we can't find time to spin. Still, if anyone can think of a mon that switches into Azumarill and doesn't take away from the team as a whole, we would love to hear it .-. Keldeo is another issue for the team, since Mega Gardevoir is the best thing we have to deal with it. Finally, we both noticed that the recent rise of Sub Wisp Taunt Gengar is problematic for the team. Thundurus is a somewhat decent answer to it, but Thundurus is so useful to the team that it would hate having to eat a Shadow Ball. When we made the team, though, Gengar wasn't used nearly as much as it is now.
Conclusion
And with that, we'd like to thank you all. We would both like to extend a special thanks to the RMT staff, in particular ShootingStarmie, who made this possible with the Rating with Raters activity on IRC (also thanks to Nog because he's a hero :]). With that out of the way, I jut want to say that even though this team may not be the best team ever, Subject 18 and I both agreed that it was time to post it since we hope the quality of this forum will rise soon. If we don't submit our teams, how can we get upset at people for not submitting theirs :/ This forum was the first place outside of the OU forum that I tried contributing to and it means a lot to me. I just hope that good players will start coming here again to both rate and post their teams. Sure, there are a lot of new players here with less-than-competitive teams, but I think it's just a phase that will pass in time if better players start to return to the forum. Anyway, I'm rambling and this is off topic. Thank you all for reading this, and I hope you enjoy the team!
