Well I know I made this a while back, but then I simply wanted to win some games. Now my objective is to make the leaderboard. I am currently around 1400, but I can't seem to get much higher. So once again I ask for your help to improve my team.
Onto my team:
At a glance
Uxie (Lead, SR support, sleep support, wall)
Breloom (Sub-Seeder)
Suicune (Physical Wall, calm mind)
Salamence (DDer)
Scizor (Physical Sweeper)
Heatran (Special Sweeper)
In-depth:
Uxie @Leftovers
Relaxed//Levitate
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
-Stealth Rock
-Yawn
-U-turn
-Psychic
Standard support Uxie, but here as a lead. I set up rocks the first turn. Then yawn+u-turn. Either the opposing pokemon falls asleep, letting my set-up either Suicune or Salamence or they switch out letting my u-turn to a suitable counter. Psychic is mainly a filler, but I've had it help me in a couple of battles. I'm probably going to switch it out for T-bolt because my team (if Suicune goes down) usually can't deal with Gyra after one or two DDs.
Breloom @Toxic Orb
Adamant//Poison Heal
44 HP / 252 Atk / 212 Spe
-Spore
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Stone Edge
I bring this out when I see something that I think would switch out (maybe fearing Seed Bomb). I use spore if Uxie hasn't put anything to sleep then sub punch away. I find this usually KO two or three foes or none at all, depending on how I play it.
Suicune @Leftovers
Bold//Pressure
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Calm Mind
-Roar
I switch into physical attacker or something asleep and calm mind up. Roars away DDers and other calm minders. Takes hits like a champ.
Salamence @ Life Orb
Naive
78Atk/252 Spa/178 Spe
-Dragon Dance
-Earthquake
-Draco Meteor
-Outrage
Thank-you darkartisan for the idea. I tested this out and started winning a lot. Like darkartisan said lot of people will switch in physical walls only to find them OHKO'd by Draco Meteor. I'm always tempted to bring this out early, but that is usually not a good idea. Suggestions on how to play this are welcome.
Scizor @Choice Band
Adamant//Technician
6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
-U-Turn
-Bullet Punch
-Superpower
-Pursuit
I switched to the choice banded version of this because life orb scizor came up a little short a lot. Anyways I'm not sure about superpower. I don't like the minus attack and defense, but brick break is considerably weaker. Also in my last few battles, I have come across some screens, but that usually isn't a problem.
Heatran@Choice Scarf
Modest//Flash Fire
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
-Fire Blast
-Hp Eectric
-Earth Power
-Dragon Pulse
Explosion wasn't working, so I used the specs moveset with scarf for the speed my team desperately needs. Besides that pretty standard not much to say, except I'm considering running the sub version or maybe even taking out Heatran for Infernape.
Any comments and concerns with my team?
As I said before, I desperately want to make the leaderboard. Even if you don't know how to make this team better, please post to tell me if you think this team can make it. If enough people tell me that this team won't work I'll ditch it and start over.
