It's Raining Man! HALLELUYAH! ehm...

Hey smogon, it's pokelegend returned from the holidays and I am here.. For...ehm.. A RAIN! ok I know this team will be a complete sh...ame but I will try to post it, it seems work well, I win enought battles. Ok lets start.

Politoed @ choice specs
Trait : drizzle
Evs : 252 spatk / 252 speed / 4 hp
Nature : modest
Moveset :
• Hydro Pump
• Ice Beam
• Focus Blast
• Hidden Power (Electric)

I always thought this was the best Politoed set. And in all (few) rains I played i used this set. Well what should I say about him? Specs tolitoed is just incredibly powerful. Hydro pump is even an 2HKO on ninetales under the sun. and this is the power I need. Ice beam is here for dragons, focus blast mainly for Ferro and others , HP electric for a bolt beam combo and for gyarados mainly. Ok , all rains fear electric pokemons, and what is better for help rain team, if not him?

celebi.jpg

Celebi @ life orb
Nature : modest
Evs : 200 speed / 252 spatk / 64 hp
Trait : Natural Cure
Moveset :
• Giga Drain
• Psychic
• Recover
• Baton Pass

Ok this celebi is pretty cool, he counter rotoms and gastrodoms, really boring for me, giga drain was choose over leaf storm, because I really no like to have a drop in atk that's worse for me psychic is for a stab, recover is another recovery move when giga is not viable, and... Why baton pass over u-turn? simply. Just the damage output of this celebi u-turn was pretty low and useless, so I put BP for escape some pursuit of tyra or scizor that will be blocked in a pretty weak move with a pok that is going to destroy them. Ok, now I feel pretty scared of. thundurus and tornadus, especially thundy-t, so now I need a counter that can cover them both. So I decide to put...

598_Ferrothorn.png

Ferrothorn @ leftovers
Evs : 252 hp / 216 sdef / 40 def
Trait : iron barbs
Nature : careful
Moveset :
• Stealth Rock
• Leech Seed
• Protect
• Power Whip

Ferrothorn even with 40 Evs in def can still resist some strong phisical attacks. I make him specially defensive for block better the genius twins. SR is obvius in every team, and I chose him for this role, leech seed is an recovery and stall move, that work even in the chains, protect in combo with leech seed help me to regain 1/5 of my total life and help me to scout some strong incoming attacks, power whip is a strong stab for attack my opponent. Now I need a spinner because someone coming next is scared of them, so I put the old, but always cool...

fetch.php

Tentacruel @ black sludge
Evs : 252 hp / 216 def / 40 spatk
Trait : rain dish
Nature : bold
Moveset :
• Scald
• Toxic
• Substitute
• Rapid Spin

Once I tryed this tents set, I fell in love with it. Scald is the stab that can burn stuffs, most notable is gyarados and other phisical niubs, protect for scout a move and recover an huge aumount of hp, toxic for stall and substitute is here for laught at jellicent, I am faster , I use substitute and after what you do motha foka!? ehm.. Sorry.. TentA can easily check scizor and setup sub in much things, rapid spin is for obvius reasons. My First sweeper is someone that will abuse rain. He is...

thundurus-t.png

Thundurus-T @ life orb
Evs 4 atk /.252 spatk / 252 speed
Nature : Naive
Trait : volt absorb
Moveset :
• Thunder
• U-turn
• Focus Blast
• HP (ice)

I choose thundy-t because he can absorb electric moves that annoy my team, thunder is my best move, and a stab that can paralize, u-turn is here, over volt switch, and with a naive nature and 4 atk Evs for hit incoming celebies harder than the stab, focus blast for coverage and hp ice for dragons and an bolt beam combo is always welcome.
Nothing else to say about him. My second, and last sweeper is my revengekiller too, say hello to...

647Keldeo_R_Dream.png

Keldeo-R @ choice scarf
Evs : 252 spatk. /4 hp / 252 speed
Nature : timid
Trait : justfield
Moveset :
• Secret Sword
• Hydro Pump
• Icy Wind
• Hidden Power Ghost

Keldeo is a sweeper revenge killer, secret sword and hydro pump are really powerful stabs, icy wind is here just for weakened x4 weak dragons and hp ghost for coverage, mainly for jellicent that otherwise will wall me.
Ok this is the team, I hope you like it and can help me improving it. See ya, and please leave a comment ^.^

Hey there,

I see a couple things wrong immediately off the bat. First off, I don't get what you are trying to accomplish with celebi, so I would recommend switching celebi to the standard defensive set, as it accomplishes pretty much what you need it to, and can spread status, while also absorbing status for your team, which is a great boon when fighting Pokemon like Breloom.

(No images on my tablet sorry.)
Celebi @Leftovers
Calm
252hp 232sdef 24spe
-Giga Drain
-Thunder Wave
-Recover
-Filler move

Next, you say that ferrothorn can take care of tornadus, but in all reality, he cannot.

Calcs inside
252 SpA Tornadus Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 216 SpD Ferrothorn: 188-222 (53.4 - 63.06%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Hurricane: 40.05 - 47.15%Focus Blast: 53.4 - 63.06%Superpower: 38.63 - 46.02%Air Slash: 25 - 29.82%

252 SpA Tornadus Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 216 SpD Ferrothorn: 188-222 (53.4 - 63.06%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
as you can see nearly an combo of attacks will 2hko ferrothorn, which really isn't what you are trying to do. I would replace protect with thunder wave to help cripple torny and other faster threats.

That's all I can see for now. Good luck.

Thanks for the rate! Mh... Up to now my celebi always worked good, but definitely, I will try your suggestions.Ferrothorn, well, was expected that them both were going to 2HKO him, but focus blast is not the perfect move in terms of accuracy, but is the truth I cannot rely only in lucky , I will try twave on Ferro, but I will definitely try to change him for jirachi, maibe the scarf one or the CM one. Thanks for the rate :)
