Jellicent (water) [QC: 0/2]

[SET]
name: Stallbreaker (Water)
move 1: Taunt
move 2: Will-O-Wisp
move 3: Hex
move 4: Recover / Strength Sap
item: Leftovers
ability: Water Absorb
nature: Calm
evs: 252 HP / 196 SpD / 60 Spe
IVs: 31/0/31/31/31/31

[Set Details]
This set is a super specially defensive poke in mono water. Taunt forces the opponent to attack with a Pokemon that either isn't fully set up yet, or hadn't set up the field like it wants to, like swords dance Hawlucha or stealth rock Ferrothorn. The will-o-wisp/hex combo limits a physical attackers power and dealing a nice amount of damage with the STAB and added damage from the burn. Recover and Leftovers is to keep Jellicent in the fight longer, allowing you to burn more targets or force a switch in. The 60 Spe allows Jellicent to outspeed uninvested Corviknight, which is a prominent setup sweeper in monotype steel.

Jellicent appreciates the presence of physically defensive Pokemon to switch into when it faces Attack focused pokemon. In mono water, Jellicent has access to Toxapex switching in on physical attackers that Jellicent has a hard time dealing with.. This set hates fast physical attackers like Gyarados and Dracozolt, giving Jellicent a hard time because they could easily OHKO both Jellicent or a switch in if you choose to do so.

This was what was discussed on Discord for the set, could you please change it to this and include more detail? The Speed EVs outspeed unboosted Corviknight. Feel free to look at the other analyses to see how they are written and formatted, but don't copy off of them, and feel free to ask about anything on Discord if you have any questions. After you do this I'll take a look.

Decem i changed it to reflect the set that was found to be optimal, i included that the set allowed jellicent to ouspeed corv, but i wasnt sure if you were refering to the setup sweeper from monotype or the defog from ou, so i went with the monotype steel setup sweeper in the analyses

This set is a super specially defensive poke in mono water. (first line should describe about how its a bulky stallbreaker or something along the lines)Taunt forces the opponent to attack with a Pokemon that either isn't fully set up yet, or hadn't set up the field like it wants to, like swords dance Hawlucha or stealth rock Ferrothorn.(can just say how taunt blocks status, healing, hazards, and setup, and name some pokemon that this is good vs. hawlucha isn't a great example since it's faster than jellicent, corviknight works fine for the setup The will-o-wisp/hex combo limits a physical attackers power and dealing a nice amount of damage with the STAB and added damage from the burn. say how will o wisp cripples physical attackers and name some examplesWould say Recover and Leftovers is to keep Jellicent in the fight longer, allowing you to burn more targets or force a switch in.Put something in for Strength Sap and situations where it's better than Recover, why you'd use it over Recover The 60 Spe allows Jellicent to outspeed uninvested Corviknight, which is a prominent setup sweeper in monotype steel.

Jellicent appreciates the presence of physically defensive Pokemon to switch into when it faces Attack focused pokemon. In mono water, Jellicent has access to Toxapex switching in on physical attackers Pokemon that Jellicent has a hard time dealing with..name some examples of pokemon toxapex can switch into for jellicent? it's really not only physical attackers, there's pokemon with super effective coverage like gengar and dragapult and status from pokemon like drapion and being able to cripple things with its own status. paraphrasing it like Toxapex is able to switch into Pokemon like x and x that threaten Jellicent while being able to absorb status from Pokemon such as Drapion and spread its own status is fine. This set hates fast physical attackers like Gyarados and Dracozolt, giving Jellicent a hard time because they could easily OHKO both Jellicent or a switch in if you choose to do so. Let's get some examples of how other Pokemon support Jellicent? Seismitoad for the Electric immunity, Keldeo being a faster Taunt user that is able to beat Dark-type Pokemon, things like that. Threatening Jellicent's checks and naming examples is also something that's worth noting.
