Jenta's RMT #1

Been using this OU team for a while and after testing, I've decided to show you guys and see what needs to be changed.

Team at first glance:

Eilesti (Azelf) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Nature: Naive
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Blast
- Explosion
- Taunt

Azelf is one of the most popular leads out there. I've never really used one so I tried it out for myself. I wanted a stealth rock user to ruin focus sash users and support my sweepers. Fireblast to ruin a steel pokemon's day and taunt to ruin opposing leads.

Mothership (Tentacruel) @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpD
Nature: Calm
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Surf
- HP Electric

Tentacruel is my special support wall on this team. Toxic spikes helps Scizor and Magnezone cripple the opposing pokemon. Rapid spin is to get rid of opposing SR or spikes. HP Electric is for those water types who don't see it coming.

TV Watch U (Rotom-F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpD
Nature: Bold
- Discharge
- Blizzard
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Frost Rotom is here to punish dragon types. Discharge over thunderbolt because the 30% paralyzes is important in the metagame. The rest/sleep talk combination is alright, but I would like something better to replace it if necessary.

170px-462Magnezone.png

UFO Probe (Magnezone) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 40 Atk / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
Nature: Naive
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- HP Fire
- Explosion

Magnezone is very important in today's metagame simply because steel is the new dragon (haha). With many dragons leaving OU, steel types are being used more and more. Magnezone is there for Scizor, Jirachi and Skarmory. HP Fire destroys steel types, while substitute is nice for protecting against switch-ins.

140px-212Scizor.png

Gurren (Scizor) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Nature: Adamant
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Pursuit

Scizor has been popular since the addition of Bullet Punch for almost 2 years and is still a powerhouse in today's metagame. I'm using a basic choice band sweeper/revenge killer. U-turn allows me to scout the opponent's team. Pursuit over quick attack because of pokemon such as Gengar and Rotom.

170px-214Heracross.png

Ballista (Heracross) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Nature: Jolly
- Megahorn
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Night Slash

Heracross is very rare to see these days, but I use him on this team as the perfect revenge killer. His attacks cover most of the pokemon types that I need to get rid of. With choice scarf, jolly is needed over adamant because Choice Scarf Heatran is the team's worst match up.

This team's major weakness is needing a better sweeping strategy. The team has really good type coverage and my pokemon cover their team mates weakness pretty well, but I need better synergy for this to work.

Pokemon who destroy this team: Heatran and Lucario.

Thank you in advance for any comments/advice!

Yes, your team seems really Heatran-bait with 3 weak to fire and only one resisting it. With Heracross and Scizor your role of revenger is taken care of, so one of them can be replaced by a fire-resistor like Life Orb Heatran over Scizor to take down Dragons behind a Substitute with Dragon Pulse. The set works well in theory with Toxic Spikes crippling Blissey so she can't stay in for more than 5 turns without having to heal or curling up into a fluffy pink ball and dying.

Next, the Rotom-F is not too good out of hail, because as with Focus Blast, Blizzard will mis when you need it to hit the most. Discharge hits Dragonite and Kingdra for neutral, and HP Ice works just the same as Blizzard, achieving the same large damages against the two lonely 4x weak dragons left in OU. You can then proceed to run a different forme to scare off specific Pokemon for the lolz*.

Or, since you don't like ResTalk too much to absorb status, you can also use a defensive Rotom as listed in the analysis. Again, any forme can do unless you really like Rotom-F.

*(e.g. Rotom-C to screw with a rampaging Roaring Swampert, Rotom-W to frighten off Heatran {and with good reason too, paralysis is a bane to most Heatran, be it Scarf or Taunt}, Rotom-S to deal with Machamp {but it may backfire due to Payback})

Your descriptions for Heracross and Scizor are too short, please expand them or I'll have to lock this thread.
