JEREMY Event pokemon?

Ok, well I'm not sure where to post this, but if it's really the wrong place someone please move it.

Alright, I just went on serebii to check some base stats, and I thought I'd look in the event pokemon section. I was scrolling through, and suddenly I noticed..

Something clicked in my head, and I rushed to my boxes.. only to find this exact Machoke as a Machamp, a Tauros that was listed, and a Cloyster as well. I tried to remember where I got these, and..

A couple years ago, I remember my dad taking me to Toys R Us for a little event thing, I didn't think of it as "OMG EVENT POGEYMAN", I didnt even know there were going to be event pokemon, just a few other people to play with. I remember trading with two guys, and they gave me some pokemon, and I remember that all of them were OT Jeremy, in all caps. I even crushed some berries with them (FR LG were the newest games at the time) and then I went home. I also got some trading card packs for free just for going. I had no clue this was an event, I just thought I traded with some local kids. All the 3 pokemon I have matches to the serebii descriptions except for exact levels because I touched them all a bit, and evolved the shellder and the Machoke evolved when trading.

I know some of you may not believe me, but as you can see on serebii I'm not making the event up like those assholes with the baton pass starters a few weeks ago, I really remember being there.

Does anyone have any info on this event? What just happened?

I was curious about this and Googled it. The most I know is that there were more than a few people that had the JEREMY event Pokemon, and that it indeed happened at Toys R Us. You would think that someone else would've posted if they knew anything about it...

Well, it seems that Smogon member "holaboy" has several of the aforementioned Pokemon in his Wi-Fi trade thread--they're all NFT. ><
 
Heh, well it's certainly pretty rare on most trade boards.. "holaboy" is the first person I've heard about\seen with one other than myself.. One of my big goals was to go to a pokemon event sometime, looks like I've already been to one and not known about it for over 3 years. I might put one up for trade if I ever clone them, but I doubt that I will. Anyway, thanks for looking it up a bit, Cards.

actually, I remeber my friend going to toys r us and getting a slowpoke
my computer's bein slow, can anyone check if slowpoke's a jeremy poke?

Well, they don't have any special moves or anything right?

So why does it matter?

I could just be missing the point, but idk...
 
No, they don't. It's just cool and everything, big collector's item and stuff for people who collect events. It's like a trophy.

yeha i remember this event...when i was living in nyc i hear about this pokemon give away by toys r us, but saddly i was working those days and cant assist...dont remember the date ... but im interested on the tauros if you r willing to trade it, let me know
