XY UU Jesus Bird Team

With the come of the ORAS era, I decided to try a new team based in one of the new megas. I wanted to try in UU since there are some megas not viable in OU, but others that are in lower tiers but probably will raise quickly (aka Beedrill, Loppuny, etc.), so I decided to make a Pidgeot based team, expecting the Jesus Bird to keep in that tier in the future. I call him: Yisus, the messiah who will bring flying spam to UU.

Obviously, M-Pidgeot was the first member. Is a very spammer wallbreaker that usually kills something every time it enters the battlefield.

I wanted to be prepared for the omnipresent CroCune, and Toxicroak was the perfect mon for that, having a nice chance to set up a sword dance and sweep.

Every team needs hazard support and hazard removal support, so I decided to run Donphan to have both things together.

I added P2 to have a good asset againts offense. I used this monster in 5th gen, when all teams were offensive, and almost always guarantees a save switch in to wall something, as well as providing paralysis support and a decent offensive pressure.

Vaporeon came to act as a healer for the rest of the team, eliminating status and recovering HP mainly for P2 and Donphan for safer switchs. Is a secondary CroCune counter due to water absorb, and is really necesary because of how frail is Toxicroak.

To close the team, Scarf Raikou provides the speed that lacks the team, making a really good volt-turn core with Pidgeot.

Pidgeot is the main wallbreaker and flying spammer, using powerful hurricanes that always hits. Heat wave provides nice coverage against steel types, and U-turn provides momentum to run away from Goodra's awesome special bulk. HP ice is such a weird option in Pidgeot, but is great against the unbanned Zygarde and Gligar too.

Here the first CroCune counter. It's function is to come in againts it and set up a sword dance as fast as he can, to sweep until death, making important holes in the foe's team. I prefer black sludge and drain punch to ensure a bit more durability, and the adamant nature to have more power, since I don't care about the things I'll outspeed using jolly bar timid/jolly Nidoking (and only forcing a tie), which is handed by Porygon2.

Donphan @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy

EVs: 168 HP / 252 Atk / 88 Spe

Donphan is responsible of the hazard control, with stealth rock and rapid spin, to avoid Pidgeot weakness to SR mainly. Hazard control moves are self explanatory, earthquake for a powerful STAB, and knock off to provide support against walls mainly, because ice coverage is given by other members of the team, but this makes him very vulnerable to ground-resistant megas like Sceptile, Aerodactyl, etc. The EV spread is made to outspeed 4 Spe base 60 mons, specially P2, who otherwise can kill me with ice beam (with sturdy broken) before I knock off it's eviolite. Is also good to outsped Trevenant and knock off it's berry or to kill or deal good damage to Empoleon before it moves.

P2 is my main tank, with exactly the same defense and SpD quantity (only 1 point less to def to give an atk boost to download mons). Provides reliable switch ins against most of the metagame, and can cripple offense by spreading paralysis. Tri Attack and Ice Beam are for STAB and general coverage, specially for Flygon, Zygarde and Gligar.

Vaporeon @ Leftovers

Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

Vaporeon is my second tank, able to take physical or special hits and heal all the team when necesary. Is very useful to keep Donphan with good HP to spin more times. I usually run toxic to cripple opposing walls that comes to take the possible scald burn that threatens offensive mons, but protect is also a good move to get instant recovery.

Raikou @ Choice Scarf

Raikou completes the team providing speed, something that this team really lacks bar Toxicroak's sucker punch. Is really good to provide momentum while threatening usual walls/tanks like Vaporeon or M-Blastoise, by making the foe think that I run specs, to be later killing offensive threads like Crobat, Azelf, Aerodactyl(-mega), Scarfdelure or +2 Spe Cloyster.

: This is a really dangerous wall that can't be OHKOed by anything, but Vapo can cripple it with scald burn, and Pidgeot deals about 50% damage, so is easy to kill when it has some prior damage dealt by my tanks.

: This thing can clean my team without any problem since Toxicroak is dead, 'cause it only receives 66-78% damage from Raikou's shadow ball, so only with some prior damage can be killed with Raikou.

: The curselax set is really dangerous because I don't have any ghost to wall him, and Toxicroak can't switch into a return/body slam, while the rest of the team can't avoid it's set up too.
