Sup smogon.
This is my first time ever to start a thread on smogon.
So i'm a bit of a noob is s'pose.
I'm not a great battler and have lost alot of my magic touch.
I have no idea what's wrong with my team so I would really appreciate some help.
Changes are in red.
Here's the team, just basically gyaravire team with quirky lead.
1.
Peachy the dragonite
Quiet nature
252atk/252spatk/4spe
Leftovers
Moves:
Draco meteor
Extremespeed
Earthquake
Fire blast
This is the lead that was recommended to me, it's not working though at the moment.
He seems soooooooooooo out of place in a battle.
I'm looking at weavile or maybe yanmega at the moment.
2.
Fluffy the rotom
Bold nature
252hp/168def/88spe
Leftovers
Moves:
Overheat
WoW
T-bolt
Shadow ball
This guy works better than my gengar did, but this guy gets caned up by other gengars and has been getting killed in every battle by tyranitar.
3.
Heatran the heatran
Naive nature
4hp/252spa/252spe
Leftovers
Earth power
Dragon pulse
Explosion
Magma storm
Standard sweeper thingy.
Solarbeam has been taken out and replaced by explosion as
solarbeam takes a turn to charge and sucks.
Anyway, heatran is bulky, and makes a great sweeper.
4.
Breloom the breloooooooom
4hp/252atk/252spe
Adamant nature
Toxic orb
Moves:
Focus punch
substitute
spore
seed bomb
A standard focus punching breloom.
He is my grass pokemon for the fire/grass/water core.
He works really well although i'm debating between seed bomb and stone edge.
He sweeps, he dies, end of story.
5.
Oldskool the Gyarados
4hp/252atk/252spe
Adamant nature
leftovers
Moves:
Ice fang
Waterfall
DD
Stone edge
Lure for electivire.
He can get a DD up reasonably well against something like jirachi and then sweep.
The main reason he's there is the lure for electivire, my 6th pokemon.
Gyaravire is one of the best combos for me out there.
6.
Jimmy the electivire
4hp/252atk/252spe
Jolly nature
Expert belt
Moves:
EQ
Cross chop
Ice punch
Thunderpunch
Jimmy is the woman!!!
Actually it's a guy... but... a guy can have his fantasies can't he??
He is on the receiver end of the gyaravire combo.
Personally, i hate mixed, it sucks.
Jolly means he can out run Ninjask without a choice scarf and other things with choice scarfs.
He motor drive boosts and then sweeps.
However, it never works as he's so predictable!!
That's the team.
I would reaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy appreciate some help.
