epic banner by Sobi so HUGE shoutout to him

hello everyone and welcome to my second rmt! this is a team i made for UBLT bc i wanted to try something new and the first thing that popped into my head was jirachi. ive always liked jirachi teams but since the release of ORAS his usage has shot down due to the threat of primal groudons, so i decided to think outside of the box. so lets get started! have fun and i hope this helps. n_n

jirachi.gif

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Atk / 224 SpD
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Toxic
- Wish
- Protect
i mainly use jirachi to check and counter xern, which he does a very good job of because of his incredible bulk and spD investment as well as his incredible typing for the job as he barely is hurt by a moonblast because of his resistance and he only takes neutral from a focus blast if it hits thanks to his secondary psychic typing. he also does great vs stall because of his toxic immunity AND his acess to toxic wish/protect himself.

rayquaza.gif
Rayquaza @ Focus Sash
Ability: Air Lock
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 160 Atk / 96 SpA / 252 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Dragon Ascent
- Surf
- Draco Meteor
- Extreme Speed
i have sash MixQuaza to hit pdon and MMence with surf and draco meteor STAB he can be a very powerful force in the metagame hitting many mons hard with his draco meteor and dragon ascent plus base 150 spA and Atk and focus sash allows him to live a boosted stone edge or moonblast and lets him kill stronk threats after taking said hits.

diancie-mega.gif

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 80 Atk / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Protect
i chose diancie because shes pretty and my favorite mon of her ability to magic bounce back hazards while still keeping an offensive presence in the ubers metagame. she also does a good job of keeping darkrai in its place because my team is considerably slow and can be put to sleep by dark void pretty easily.

darkrai.gif

Darkrai @ Life Orb
Ability: Bad Dreams
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Void
- Dark Pulse
- Nasty Plot
- Thunder

on to the next mon, darkrai, he is one of my personal favorite pokemon and he is on the team to do what he does so well in this meta, sleep then set up. i chose thunder > sludge bomb because my team doesnt exactly appriciate kyogre and i already have jirachi to deal with xerneas.

groudon-primal.gif
Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Precipice Blades
- Stone Edge
- Swords Dance
Its the don of ubers in all of his glory. (lol puns 4 dayz) He is here as my sr setter and to do what he does best, show off his sheer power by setting up sd and sweeping. i chose to run jolly to outspeed other don and don has anough power to kill other don most of the time.

arceus-ground.gif

Arceus-Ground @ Earth Plate
Ability: Multitype
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Recover
i put the allmighty god groundceus here to take care of my teams banded ho-oh weakness with stone edge and to take care of groudons in case my own dies. he also does a good job of dealing with steel- types that may try to kill my diancie.

well if lord outrage helped you with the team I don't see why there would be any flaws
Like the team, sash rayquaza is always a pain especially when your opponent comes in thinking they have a free revenge kill, only to get bopped by a 1% ray. However, I have a few suggestions; while Jirachi performs decently against stall it's more of a burden against hyper offense.
  • Lava Plume/Fire Punch over Swords Dance on pdon. This gives you a way to hit bulkier mons that your team struggles against, such as Ferrothorn and the less common but growing in popularity Bronzong. While you have Darkrai to deal with the latter, carrying LO can wear it down quickly, especially if it's needed to check other mons such as support arceus forms.
  • Bronzong over Jirachi. They perform more or less the same functions, but I don't think wishpass is necessary on a team geared toward maintaining offensive pressure, as it more often than not just kills momentum. Bronzong has access to Skill Swap, allowing it to potentially Toxic Sableye switchins. It can also carry Stealth Rock, which would free up pdon's moveslot (as you're running max attack and speed you'll probably want to be attacking more). Finally, this change would allow you to check some SD arceus forms such as ekiller lacking Shadow Claw and sd groundceus, which otherwise cleans your team if Darkrai is dead (or low, if running espeed), as well as Mega Salamence, which Jirachi doesn't do.
    +1 252+ Atk Mega Salamence Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Jirachi: 388-458 (96 - 113.3%) -- 75% chance to OHKO

that's all I have for now, good luck :]
    Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb

    Jolly Nature
    - Lava Plume/Fire Punch
    - Precipice Blades
    - Stone Edge
    - Swords Dance/Dragon Claw

    Bronzong @ Leftovers
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
    Sassy Nature
    IVs: 0 Spe
    - Stealth Rock
    - Gyro Ball
    - Toxic
    - Skill Swap
