What is the bug?
Doesn't show that I'm spectating or that I joined someone's match when my VPN is on.

Using a VPN.

This doesn't have to do with a VPN specifically, but rather being locked. Being locked won't cause join/leave messages to be sent for battle rooms. I am not sure if that's intended or not - Hecate?

It is, yes. Intended to prevent malicious users spamming join/leaves.
