This thread is all about listing facts that aren’t true but are believable, and hey throw in some true facts in there for fun. I’ll give some examples.

Baking soda got its name from a common myth in the 19th century where many people thought the product was made by heating up soda to extremely high temperatures.

There are around 15 deaths related to corn mazes every year.


Wario was originally meant to be German however he was switched to Italian after Mario Party 1.

The least common letter in the English alphabet the average person writes in their lifetime is Q.


Extra Edit "facts" list for things I just thought of

Throughout the Pokémon anime there have been 7 instances of ground types getting hit by electric type moves.

Originally October and August were meant to be the 8th and 10th months respectively however due to a communication error they swapped places.
