Ya so this is my team. It's been working fairly well for me. I just started playing OU b/c i was tired of dealing with choice specs kyogre in the upper elo in ubers.
Swordy (Aegislash) @ Life Orb
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SDef
Adamant Nature
- King's Shield
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Claw
- Iron Head
I chose aegislash mainly because it was on my ubers team and i was familiar with how it works. Swords dance allow it to set up. King's shield wrecks physical attackers with allows aegislash to set up SD. Shadow claw and iron head are reliable STAB options.
Gooey (Goodra) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Gooey
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Earthquake
I chose goodra mainly b/c it looks awesome. Assault vest with spd evs allow it to tank literally everything that's special. The 4 moves i gave it allow it to hit anything relatively hard.
Pretty (Gardevoir) @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
Gardevoir was a favourite of mine from the good ol gen 3 days. Hypervoice can 2hko almost anything that doesn't resist fairy. Psyshock is good stab coverage and hits pink blobs hard. Shadow ball hits other psychics and ghosts. I usually switch in GM gardevoir on a dragon type and then set up with CM and it works pretty well.
Fatty (Dragonite) @ Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd

- Dragon Claw
- Roost
- Fire Punch
DD dragonite can pretty much rip through anything. Roost allows me to abuse multiscale and pp stall. D claw and fire punch is unresisted attacking options.
Batty (Gliscor) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 40 Def / 224 Spd
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Roost
- Earthquake
Gliscor is just super annoying to deal with as it has status immunity and fast restore methods. Roost enhances its longevity and earthquake is good stab in case taunt user comes.
Fancy (Keldeo) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Secret Sword
- Hidden Power [Ghost]
- Icy Wind
I found out the hard way that my team was super weak to mamoswine so i replace heatran (he use to be on my team) with keldeo as it can easily tank an ice shard and then ohko with secret sword.
Known issues: ice types wreck my team especially mamoswine b/c if keldeo is down my whole team is screwed. I'm also lacking a defogger/spinner to get rid of toxic spikes or rocks.
Questions: would it be better if i run my gardevoir with spd evs instead of speed?
