A non weather team
So, anyone who reads comic books knows that a few weeks ago DC relaunched every single one of there titles, including Action Comics, the very first Super Hero Comic ever, first released back in 1938, and almost hit its 1000th issue. Well, Pokemon has nothing to do with that... So, lets get on to the team...
Building Process
So, we start this little number off with a few choices... the main choice being, who is my dragon going to be?
Originally, I just chose one. Haxorus. His ungodly power with a choice scarf made him a monster that didn't need to be set up. He could, and would knock his way through anything that he came up against.
Next, I went with Mienshao. She came in and wrecked face, first with a normal gem boosted fake out for frailer leads, and then u-turn for finish, or the switch in.
To round off my powerful poke's, I went with a specs Jolteon, who has never, well, almost never let me down. Out speeds basically everything in OU that isn't scarf'd or Deoxys-S, and preceeds to get a K.O. It's actually really nice.
Celebi was my next pokemon, who I don't think should be in UU (same with jolteon, but I won't complain, as I love Jolteon...) to prove it, I put a defensive one on my team, who actually took an offensive role rather quick... so I dropped Heal Bell and Perish Song for Nasty Plot and HP Fire.
Next, My defensive pokemon. Skarmory has always been a favorite of mine, and I needed a SR user, so I couldn't think of anyone better. Chandelure is a rather underrated pokemon. It actually has a pretty decent HP/Sp.D stat, and doesn't need a whole lot of SP.A ev's to pack a punch, so I decided to make it my special wall, plus, it complemented Skarm so well. Drawing out those fire pokemon so easily.
Now after my team got this point I had to test it, and test it well. As I did, a problem began to arise. Haxorus, while good, wasn't getting the job done, be it Scarfed or DD set. So, I looked at the dragon's again, and decided on a different one.
Salamence. The girl does work, always and truly. After a few more tests I noticed that Celebi and Meinshao were beginning to fall short of expectations. Meinshao I got rid of all together, but I made Celebi offensive, as I mentioned above. After a bit more play testing, I decided to also replace Celebi. Looking around I noticed people were doing double dragon teams more often then not, so I decided to give it a shot.
So, I came up with this team here. After some more plays I began to notice a pattern in my continuing loses. Chandelure, being weak to SR just couldn't hold up its end of bargain, and I also needed some more status passed to the oppenent, so they couldn't set up on me as easily, so I changed Chandelure for Tentacruel.
Now you have my team, as it stands now, at this present point in time.

Now you have my team, as it stands now, at this present point in time.

Mr. Terrific (Latios) (M) @ Expert Belt Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
Originally a Trick Scarf set, I quickly noticed people were more afraid of the specs variant, and while I already had a specs user, I decided I'd bluff my specs with an Expert Belt. Sure enough, I bring in Mister Terrific and the opponent was sure to switch in, expecting to get the upper hand.

Static (Jolteon) (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Well, Static here is a rather reliable pokemon, in both OU and UU, though I like it more in OU than UU. Its speed is so insane, I dare not give this guy a scarf, otherwise he'd be traveling through time, like the Flash, or Max Mercury. (Though the yellow color does fit Professor Zoom or Kid Flash a bit better.)

Swamp Thing (Conkeldurr) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Guts
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Payback
- Taunt
To be honest, this is the first time I've used Conkeldurr, ever. I'm not joking. I am a bigger fan of Scrafty and Machamp, or I was, but now that I've used this monster I can understand why this thing outclasses both. Bulk-Up Drain Punch Combo keeps Swampy in the game long after other attackers on my team, and is a really good check to a number of threats.

Super Girl (Salamence) (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
This is a standard set that's been used since early 4th gen. DD and Outrage with a Life Orb will knock the wind out of anybody, and Earthquake for the random Steel Poke that I predict, and Fire Blast for Skarm, Ferro, and Forrey, who would all wall this set otherwise.

Animal Man (Skarmory) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Roost
- Brave Bird
Again, a rather common set. SR, being the most used move in the meta. Spikes help me out more often then not. Roost as my recovery, and Brave Bird so I'm not taunt fodder. (I had Whirlwind, but taunt became a nightmare to work around, so I changed it to BB.)

Aquaman (Tentacruel) (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Scald
- Protect
The last guy that made it onto this team. Toxic Spikes and RS to set up more entry hazards, and clear my field of any. I went with Scald over Surf, because I don't always get a chance to set up Toxic Spikes, and Protect to help ease the game a little, and give me some more black sludge healing.
...
So, there you go. My team as it is now. Its a really good team, I feel, but I'd love to know what you guys think, so leave your comments below, and I'll take them to heart. Promise.
