Life Orb Kadabra is one of NFE's best offensive Pokemon thanks to its great Speed and Special Attack, the Speed in particular being fastest in the tier unboosted. Psychic is Kadabra's main STAB move and does a good deal of damage to most neutral targets. Dazzling Gleam is mandatory coverage to hit Dark-types that are immune to Psychic such as Vullaby, Linoone-Galar and Krokorok. Energy Ball is used to do significant damage to Piloswine, Slowpoke and specially defensive Palpitoad. Shadow Ball can be used in order to hit Corsola-Galar and Lampent while still hitting the aforementioned Slowpoke. Psyshock is run to hit specially defensive Clefairy and Roselia harder. Knock Off can be used to cripple bulky pokemon on switch-in such as Vullaby, Corsola-Galar and Klang. Encore allows Kadabra to prevent opposing Pokemon from setting up or grant itself and its teammates free turns by temporarily locking Pokemon such as Duosion or Lampent into an disadvantageous move.
Life Orb Kadabra is best used mid- to late game when the Pokemon that wall it have had their Eviolite removed or are weakened.
