Kangaskhan (update possible)

I have noticed the effectiveness and the intrigue of the lead/late game priority kangaskhan. Wesley Morioka used the following set in the 2010 VGC championships and to a lesser extent I have used a similar spec and have had great success with it in local tournaments and wifi matches.

Kangaskhan@ Chople Berry/Salac Berry/Life Orb
Ability: Scrappy
Jolly/Adamant
252Atk/6HP/252Spe (pretty self explanatory)
Fake Out
Return
Protect
Low Kick

fake out for speed priority and flinch "free damage". Return is the basic STAB (102 power) that can hit ghosts with Scrappy. Protect gives a free turn to make the opponent take hail/sandstorm /take poison dmg etc. Low Kick gives steel and rock type coverage to reduce the resistances to Return. Low Kick also works well on non-resistant heavy pokemon such as: Hippowdon, Swampert, and Skarmory in OU and Giratina, Dialga, Palkia, and Kyogre in Ubers. This set works very well in UU/OU, but where it really shines is the in mix tournament/Ubers tier. It has amazing synergy with Rayquaza as a lead in doubles and can act as an annoying switch in for fake outs with its high HP.

items: preference is key here. The recommended item is a chople berry to prevent fast fighters/priorty fighters from one shotting kanga, and allowing it to return the KO, but if kanga is lasting well then salac berry can be used for some late game speed boosted sweeps to surprise opponents. Life Orb is a more offensive approach and may lead to losing too much HP, but nevertheless is an option I've seen used.

I could write more, but I don't know how much is required for having a suggestion. I may not have even posted this in the write section, so maybe someone can redirect me. I just thought this moveset was amazing and should be shared with the community. At the very least some of the parts of this set might be incorporated into the "optional changes" section?

cheers,

Mousse
