**Overview**: Boasting massive Attack, solid Speed, Beast Boost, and a good defensive profile, Kartana is a versatile offensive Pokemon that can do it all. It can easily be a wallbreaker, cleaner, or setup sweeper, making it difficult for opponents to prep for. All of this versatility is not without downsides though; Kartana's abysmal Special Defense means even the weakest of Gusts probably has a chance to KO it. It can also end up very prediction-reliant, as it gets a lot of value from holding Choice items, meaning opponents can exploit it if it is locked into the wrong move.

Need a wallbreaker, slap on a Choice band, need a cleaner, Choice Scarf with Beast Boost, wanna be a setup sweeper, click Swords Dance and get a little creative with the IVs and boost your speed with Beast Boost. It can be a wallbreaker with Choice Band, a cleaner with Choice Scarf, and a setup sweeper with Swords Dance. It can even boost its Speed with Beast Boost by running less Attack IVs. **Choice Items**: Kartana makes great use of both Choice band and Choice Scarf, Choice Band allows it to be a powerful wallbreaker that requires opponents to play very carefully around it. Choice Scarf allows Kartana to be a threatening sweeper as one Beast Boost in Attack can be all it needs to win games. Separate band & scarf, they're very different items & shouldn't be mentioned together

**Other Damage Boosting Items**: If the ability to switch moves is valuable in a matchup items like Life Orb or Expert Belt can allow Kartana to maintain its damage output without being locked in to a single move.
