Intro-
Howdy, for the most part I'm pretty new to pokemon, although I'm a solid battler [in my opinion]. I just play to burn time though. So please, take a look!
Team at a Glance....
Porygon2 @ Leftovers
Calm Nature
252 Hit Points/6 Defense/252 Special Defense
-Magic Coat
-Recover
-Ice Beam
-ThunderBolt
My lead porygon2. Pretty much an anti-lead for the most part. Destroys pokemon like Gengar, Crobat, and any sort of statusers [very similar to the Keckleon Approach]
The beams provide great coverage, while recover keeps P2 fresh. A lot sturdier than people expect it to be, takes a bit of prediction, but usually it can take a few hits and make up for my errors.
Shaymin @ Choice Specs
Modest Nature
6 Hit Points/252 Special Attack/252 Speed
-Seed Flare
-Grass Knot
-Hidden Power Fire
-Psychic
Bologo reiterated the power of SpecShay, and I listened. I've been using this since I read that thread when it was posted, obviously all credit goes to him. I run the standard set that was suggested, and its pretty amazing. Can take hits solidly, isn't hard to switch in, the Seed Flare just destroys everything. Only idea is to switch out Rest for something, seeing as I only use rest once in a while.
Registeel @ Leftovers
Impish Nature
252 Hit Points/252 Defense/6 Special Defense
-Stealth Rock
-Toxic
-Thunder Wave
-Iron Head
The forgotten wall, this thing is a monster. Steel is a solid defensive type, takes ice beams and dragon stuff like a pro. I Ev'd his defenses to take Earthquakes and stuff better, so he can deal out his status's. Double status, T Waves are fun to fire around, and ensure my revengers get easy kills. Toxic to ware down stuff that Twave can't. Stealth rock is just for a bit of extra damage, helps against the flyers quite a bit. And so he isn;t completely destroyed, Iron Head for a bit of stab offense. Although, I really try to keep Registeel from attacking. [Considering explosion over iron head though...]
Medicham @ Choice Scarf
Adamant Nature
6 Hit Points/252 Attack/252 Speed
-Psycho Cut
-Thunder Punch
-Ice Punch
-Brick Break
This thing was pretty hyped up a while ago, and has pretty much died from existance. I don't see why... sure its frail, but it packs a solid punch. I mean, it has insane coverage, OHKOs most things and serves as an excellent revenge killer. So far so good, pretty standard.
Dugtrio @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
6 Hit Points/252 Attack/252 Speed
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Aerial Ace
-Night Slash
I just started using this guy too, i needed something to deal with Blissy, and well, this thing does quite the job. Was running Stone Edge, but I'm switching it for Rock Slide [assuming it learns it] for the accuracy reason. I can't afford to have it miss, even if its not as strong. Either way, he comes in and traps, and destroys. Pretty slick.
Shedinja @ Focus Sash
Adamant Nature
6 Hit Points/252 Attack/252 Speed
-Swords Dance
-X-Scissor
-Shadow Claw
-Protect
Yea, your probably thinking... WHAT! Shedinja, this isn't ubers. Well, it isn't, but Sheddy really isn't that bad. I mean, its like 50/50 In my mind. If I'm facing Sandstorm, then Shedinja comes in to take a hit[or die from the sand] and then allows my revengers to take them out. Stealth Rock destroys him, but again, he comes in, takes the hit, and allows my revengers to finish the job. His real glory is when he runs into something he walls... Protect does a good job scouting too. Late game sweep with no effort at all...
I know my Evs are really bleh but they work... I don't run Damage Calcs and stuff to find out what needs to happen to survive X hit or whatever, I just play.
Any suggestions are appreciated, feel free to pick apart.
Thanks
