浴火重生，荣耀归来！作为强力的进攻型清场手，火焰鸡在重回OU分级后找到了属于自己的独特定位，既能够在对战早期摧毁对手的队伍，也能够在终局时进行清场。加速特性是火焰鸡进攻时的核心，只需要一次速度提升，火焰鸡就能反超厄诡椪-水井面具、酋雷姆与龙卷云-灵兽等威胁。剑舞搭配上闪焰冲锋和近身战这两个属性一致招式，火焰鸡可以将仆刀将军、赛富豪以及古鼎鹿等OU分级的常见宝可梦化为灰烬。尖石攻击能够威胁快龙、火焰鸟与闪电鸟，也可以有效打击西狮海壬和多龙巴鲁托。携带生命宝珠后，太晶格斗近身战能在攻击+2时OHKO藏玛然特与保姆曼波等对手。火焰鸡最适合在进攻型队伍中登场以便发挥其进攻能力，这类队伍不仅能让火焰鸡找到安全的强化机会，也能在其削弱对手后进行清场。对于前者，代欧奇希斯-速度形态表现尤为出色，既可以布置场地伤害消耗换入的宝可梦，也能够使用双墙为火焰鸡创造更安全的强化机会。而后者方面，仆刀将军与猛雷鼓等队友则能有效应对桃歹郎和西狮海壬等火焰鸡难以处理的对手，并打击雄伟牙和土地云-灵兽等共同Check。
