Introduction
Hi guys,This is Cool.isColress.This is my 1st rmt.Today I am going to present a team that i co-built with N01syBoy .So without further ado,let's begin.
Teambuilding Process

So first of all we started with Adamant Lo Mamoswine.

Then we added Keldeo as our fire and water resist.

So at this point of stage we both thought that we lacked a grass resist and a mon that can beat any set of Fini.In this case,Thundurus-T came in my mind.Thundurus-t is also a mon which is a ground immune,an electric immune,a grass resist and a set up sweeper who can 1v1 Fini and has a potential to 6-0 stall after rocks.

So at this point,we thought that we are weak to Zard Y and Volcarona.So we added scarf nihilego as a check to them.

So the team took form as a Ho at this point.So we added Pinsir and protean Gren as our hard hitting mons.

So Noisy made me notice a thing that we are running a Pinsir team without hazard removal.In my opinion replacing Mamoswine with sash Exca will be a good addition to this team.Sash Exca is a suicide lead rocker which is also a ground immune and has access to rapid spin.Sash Exca also does not make Ho lose the momentum of it.

Set Details:Keldeo has a good typing being a water/fighting type.Scald is the most spammable move Keldeo.Hydro Pump is the most hard hitting move Keldeo uses.With Choice specs Hydro pump makes Keldeo hit harder than a truck.Secret Sword is a must have move on any Keldeo.Secret sword allows keldeo not only to hurt steel types but also dealing a ton of damage to spd mons like chansey which otherwise walls Keldeo.Icy wind is to hit things like Latias,Latios and mostly used to slow down fasted paced mons.Evs are from standard smogon spread.
How Does It Help The Team:Keldeo is a very hard hitting wallbreaker which is often used to beat things that Thundurus has trouble with like Alolan-Marowak.Keldeo is also my main check to Ash-Greninja due to its typing.

Set Details:Agility is used to get +2 speed with Thundurus-t.Thunderbolt as a stab and as a move to abuse the Z move.Hp Ice is for things like Landorus-t,Garchomp etc.Nasty plot to get +2 spa boost and finally z move to Nuke a Nuclear Thunder.Standard Evs spread is used in this set.
How Does It Help The Team:Thundurus beats things that keldeo has trouble with such as Tapu Fini, etc.Thundurus also combines with mons like nihilego allowing it to be immune from ground.Thundurus has the ability called Volt Absorb which makes it immune to electric.Thus making it immune to one of Keldeo's weakness.Finally it also works as a grass resist that synergies with the team.Thundy also helps me win most of the game after setting up with dual dance.

Set Details:Nihilego has a tremendous base speed of 103 and with scarf it can outspeed most of the non scarf mon in the ou tier.Thunderbolt to hit water types.Thunder is also a choice but i prefer accuracy over power.Hidden power ice is to hit things like Landorus,Garchomp.Power gem to hit fire and bug types while also being a stab.Sludge bomb hits most of the fairy types of ou and works as a stab.Standard evs are used in this case.
How Does It Help The Team:So the Thundy+Keldeo core has trouble against mons like Volcarona,Mega Charizard y etc.they are also weak to things like Venusaur.Nihilego is our primary check to Venusaur,Volcarona and Mega Charizard Y.

:Sword Dance allows it to boost it power to a ridiculous amount.Return for Aerilate boost and stab.Quick Attack for priority.And Close Combat for steel types like Magnezone,Ferrothorn,Skarmory.
How Does It Help The Team:Pinsir is my ground resist before mega evolving.Pinsir is the only fully physical attacker of the team.pinsir is also my prior user and a secondary Volcarona check.My 3rd way to kill Tapu fini.Since this team has trouble with mega venusaur,Pinsir with flying stab is a good check to it.

Set Details
:We chose 4 atk Greninja over 3 atk spike because the coverage was very much needed.Gunk Shot is used to kill things like shed shell Lele,Tapu Fini,Bulu etc.Gunk Shot also hits mons like Tangrowth.Hidden power Fire is for Scizor and ferrothorn.Ice beam for things like Lando,Garchomp.And finally Dark Pulse For Metagross.Life orb for maximum damage while also being able to switch attacks.252 spa to kill Metagross with Dark Pulse.And 4 atk for Gunk Shot.
How Does It Help The Team:Gunk shot gives our team another way to beat Fini against which Keldeo is forced to switch.Hidden Power Fire helps vs Scizor and Ferrothorn.Ice beam helps Nihilego get past Lando and Garchomp.Dark pulse helps this team get rid of Metagross.

Set Details:Stealth rock for rocks,Earthquake to hit electric,fire and steel types.Toxic for mons like Zapdos,Landorus-T.Rapid Spin for hazard removal.Sash to survive a non multi attacking move.And mold breaker to break through magic bounce.
How Does It Help The Team:Excadrill is the rock setter and the hazard removal of the team.Taunt mons such as Heatran and Koko do not want to stay on a mon like this.Rapid Spin helps Pinsir and Thundurus a lot.

Scarf Tapu Lele is a huge threat to this team.Since my only way to kill it is with sludge bomb from Nihilego.If this comes in on Keldeo or Greninja,this often forces a 50/50,giving this team some trouble.

Just like Lele Mega Meta also has no switchin on this team making me weak to it.My only way to ohko it is with Dark Pulse from Greninja.

Weather teams can also give this team a trouble if played by a good player.Having no switchin to Excadrill or Kingdra Gives this team some trouble.​

Hello Colress, cool team,I like the idea of using Thundurus-T to bring in fatter grass type Pokemon for Mega Pinsir. I would have dropped this in pms if you were online at the time, but I noticed that the team struggle with breaking fat steel type pokemon like Magearna, Mega Metagross, and Celesteela. It also struggles with Protean Greninja, but given its offensive capabilities it can somewhat manage these Pokemon. I have a couple of changes that can help fix this issue.

Firstly, Earthquake > Close Combat on Mega Pinsir will help you KO Magearna at +2 and prevent Mega Metagross and Tapu Koko from switching in at the cost of a tiny bit more damage onto Rotom Wash,Ferrothorn, Skarmory and Celesteela. Earthquake hits many of the targets of Close Combat for decent damage. You mention that you really want to hit Ferrothorn for a little bit of extra damage, allowing you to KO it. However, a severely weakened Ferrothorn( from a + 2 Return, assuming the roll to OHKO does not happen) cannot check any member of your team, and cannot proceed to deal that much damage to Pinsir-Mega. Doing a little bit of extra damage to Skarmory is not necessary, because the team has other ways to beat stall, and you can use the roll of not being ohkoed by Counter to your advantage. Skarmory is mainly found on stall, and getting that little extra chip with Close Combat will not help any of your teammates.


Next, I recommend Spikes > Hidden Power Fire on Greninja. You mention that Hidden Power Fire hits Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor, but Spikes can help chip down those Pokemon along with many other threats like Tapu Koko, Mega Metagross, Tangrowth, and Marowak Alola. It stops Tangrowth from repeatedly getting Regenerator and blocking Thundurus-T from sweeping. Tapu Koko and Mega Metagross can prevent Mega Pinsir from doing its job, and Marowak Alola also stops Thundurus-T. It can pressure down stall teams much more, helping to reduce the pain of removing Close Combat against stalls. You have many Pokemon that take advantage of Mega Scizor and hitting Ferrothorn isn't really cumpolsary here, and is inferior to the benefit of Spikes.

After this, I recommend Choice Scarf Keldeo > Choice Specs Keldeo. Choice Scarf Keldeo helps relieve the problems caused by Protean and Battle Bond Greninja in addition to somewhat freeing the Nihilego slot. Choice Scarf is honestly the item that Keldeo should be running on offenses, and it manages to help with Pokemon like DD Zygarde and Tapu Koko as well. It does release a bit of pressure off Tangrowth, but that's what Spikes Greninja was for, and Mega Pinsir can capitalize on Tangrowth switches. The loss of a method to pressure balances can be annoying at times but the team has Thundurus-T and Mega Pinsir to heavily pressure balances, and Choice Specs Keldeo was never a great balance breaker.


At last, I suggest Scarf Heatran > Scarf Nihilego. In all honesty, Charizard-Mega-Y was never a threat for the team thanks to the number of Pokemon that can 1v1 it. Scarf Heatran does not release pressure off Mega Metagross and can potentially lure it in. It can also revenge kill Mega Charizard Y if you want to run Earth Power. Keldeo takes care of Volcarona now that I made Keldeo Choice Scarfed. Heatran can help pressure steels like Magearna and Celesteela, and is your primary check to offensive and defensive sets alike on those. A choice Scarf is chosen to beat Mega Metagross as well as outspeed Gengar and Tapu Koko. Double Scarfers are not that bad if you have a method to break balances as good as this, and a scarfer is fairly slow in the world of Choice Scarfers. It also makes up for lost pressure on Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor. It also deals with Tapu Lele if healthy.

Smeargle Sticky Webs looks like an annoying matchup if it has Spore Smeargle, but a way to play around it is Lead Pinsir, click Frustration onto their Sash, if they Spore click Excadrill and get the Spin vs EQ 50/50, and if they click Sticky Webs, just click Frustration again, and let it drop, with bringing in Heatran vs Celesteela and trying to get a rapid Spin off as you have checks to most of its Pokémon.
