[SET COMMENTS]
After an Agility, Kingler is able to outspeed the whole unboosted tier. It becomes a fearsome cleaner with a powerful Sheer Force boosted Liquidation and that doesn't fear most priority moves thanks to its high Defense. Knock Off lets Kingler cripple its counters like Tangela, Altaria, and Ferroseed in mid-game so it can more easily clean late-game. Sheer Force boosted Body Slam provides great neutral coverage, removing weakened foes resisting Water like Wishiwashi, Poliwrath, and Flapple. Rock Slide is weaker versus these threats but lets Kingler more easily deal with Altaria and Cramorant that are otherwise annoying to deal with. Likewise, High Horsepower lets Kingler damage these Water-resisting checks while pressuring Qwilfish.

Knock Off users like Gurdurr, Shiftry, and Sawk are great partners that can weaken Kingler's checks like Qwilfish, Altaria, and Tangela. VoltTurn pivots such as Uxie, Rotom-S, and Alolan Persian can safely bring Kingler on the field. Dual Screen support from the former is also appreciated to provide Kingler more setup opportunities. Special wallbreakers like Rotom and Thievul can pressure physical walls like Cofagrigus and Pyukumuku for Kingler. Spikes support from Garbodor and Qwilfish weakens Kingler's checks such as Ferroseed and Qwilfish. The former can also pressure Grass-types like Appletun and Tangela.

[SET COMMENTS]
After a Swords Dance, Kingler is able to OHKO most foes that don't resist Water-types with its powerful Sheer Force boosted STAB Liquidation. Knock Off lets it cripple Water resistant checks like Cramorant, Ferroseed, and Tangela and even beat some of them like Qwilfish and Jellicent after a Swords Dance and some chip damage. Body Slam is Kingler's strongest coverage move, dealing neutral damage to most Water-resistant foes like Wishiwashi, Appletun, and Poliwrath and being able to dent them after a Swords Dance boost. Ice Beam with a Naive nature is an alternative that lets Kingler break through Tangela after Knock Off, deal more damage to Altaria, and OHKO Flapple.

VoltTurn support from partners like Uxie, Rotom-S, and Alolan Persian is important for Kingler as it lets it remain healthy and can bring it safely on the field despite its mediocre special bulk. Fire-types like Rapidash and Centiskorch appreciate Kingler weakening shared checks such as Altaria, Qwilfish, and Wishiwashi in range of their moves and can in return keep Grass-types in check. Electric-type checks like Silvally-Ground and Piloswine are very important as they are the premier form of revenge killing Kingler. Special walls like Uxie, Ferroseed, and Clefairy are also enjoyed for their ability to handle special attackers that threaten Kingler. Kingler appreciates hazard removal from the likes of Articuno, Rotom-S, and Morpeko since preserving Kingler's health prevents it from being revenge killed by attackers such as Silvally-Ground, Basculin, and Choice Scarf Sawk.

Other Options
=============

Kingler can run a Double Dance set with both Agility and Swords Dance, however Kingler misses the utility from Knock Off and the coverage from Body Slam, which makes this set often not worth using. Alternatively, Kingler can run four offensive moves, but while it has more coverage, it's less effective than Swords Dance sets. Superpower is an option that deals more damage than Body Slam and lets Kingler break through Ferroseed, however it has the downside of targeting fewer walls, which makes it often inferior to Body Slam.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-types**: While Electric-types like Rotom-formes, Manectric, and Morpeko can't comfortably switch into Kingler's attacks, they outspeed Kingler and can OHKO.

**Grass-types**: Bulky Grass-types like Ferroseed and Tangela resist Kingler's STAB move. While Kingler can take them out if they are weakened, they act as great checks that can wall it. Likewise, offensive Grass-types like Gourgeist-S and Thwackey can OHKO Kingler with their supper effective STAB move before Kingler hits them.

**Water-types**: The likes of Poliwrath, Wishiwashi, and Qwilfish resist Liquidation and can cripple Kingler with status. However, Kingler can break through them with Knock Off and Body Slam after some chips damage and a Swords Dance.

**Special Attackers**: Due to its abysmal special bulk, Kingler gets tremendously damaged by most strong special hits from attackers like Thievul, Skuntank, and Clawitzer, and it's OHKOed by most of these Pokemon.

This Kingler set fits well on offensive teams that appreciate its ability to clean weakened teams. Fighting-types like Gurdurr and Sawk are great partners that can weaken Kingler's checks like Qwilfish, Altaria, and Tangela. (Rework the previous sentence to Knock Off users instead of Fighting-types. Gurdurr and Sawk largely cant do much to these three outside of crippling with Knock, especially Tangela.) VoltTurn pivots such as Uxie, Rotom-S, and Alolan Persian can safely bring Kingler on the field. Dual Screen support from the former (More of a GP point but the use of "former" and "latter" only is applicable to differenciating between two examples) is also appreciated to provide Kingler more setup opportunities. Special wallbreakers like Vanilluxe, Rotom, and Thievul can pressure physical walls for Kingler.

(Could mention somewhere Spikes support weakening checks and putting them in range of Kingler for a sweep. Garbodor also pressures Grass-types for Kingler)

**Grass-types**: Grass-types like Tangela, Shiftry, and Flapple resist Kingler's STAB move and their STAB moves threaten Kingler with an OHKO. Thwackey is a noteworthy threat to Kingler as it can revenge kill it with Grassy Glide after few chips. Kingler also outspeeds both Shiftry and Flapple and they both take massive damage from coverage so mentioning Gourgeist-S instead is better)
