National Dex Monotype Klefki (Fairy) [(QC 2/2) (GP 1/1)]

Klefki @ Light Clay
Name: Screen Setter (Fairy)
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Foul Play / Thunder Wave
- Spikes

[Set Description]
Klefki is the ideal dual screens setter on Fairy due to its Steel typing, which negates Poison-type attacks from Nihilego and Alolan Muk and ability to fend off threats like Mega Scizor with Foul Play. Klefki is a better option than Grimmsnarl due to its typing and ability to set up Spikes, which, like its screens, go up quickly with Prankster. This support allows for Pokemon like Tapu Bulu and Azumarill from setting up and sweeping, teams. Foul Play prevents Pokemon like Mega Scizor and Mimikyu to set up and sweep while Thunder Wave cripples foes and allows Mega Diancie to outspeed threats such as +1 Mega Charizard X and Nihilego, which will normally beat Klefki one on one. Setting up Spikes creates solid chip damage on Alolan Muk and Gholdengo, allowing for late-game sweeping from its teammates Iron Valiant and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele. Mega Diancie punishes opponents trying to set up entry hazards against Klefki and beats Fire-types such as Heatran and Mega Charizard Y. Tapu Bulu helps Klefki with Grassy Terrain, which halves the damage it takes from Earthquake, making Pokemon such as Iron Treads and Mamoswine not hit as hard.

Klefki is the ideal Screen setter on Fairy due to its Steel typing preventing it from being damaged by Poison attacks from ___ and ability to fend off threats like Mega Scizor. Its ability, Prankster, allows it to set up screens quickly and almost always set up Spikes for its teammates.and with its item, Light Clay, the screens will stay up for 7 turns where Reflect halves all incoming physical damage and Light Screen halves all incoming special damage. (PokeDex info) This allows for Pokemon like Tapu Bulu and Azumarill to set up and give them the potential to sweep teams. (Mention Foul Play checking Mega Scizor and other setup sweepers) Thunder Wave is able to cripple opponents by paralyzing them and allowing Mega Diancie and Iron Valiant to outspeed threats such as Meowscarada and Greninja (These examples are both Dark-types before Protean activation, so Prankster is a bit tough to work with, choose different examples). Setting up spikes creates solid chip for late game sweeping capabilities from its teammates Iron Valiant and Tapu Lele. Klefki pairs up well with Azumarill and Iron Valiant as they are able to deal huge amounts of damage while being guarded by Klefki's screens (Azumarill checks Fire-types for Klefki and Iron Valiant threatens Iron Treads and Heatran). (Give Tapu Koko a sentence)

Klefki is the ideal Screen setter on Fairy due to its Steel typing preventing it from being damaged by Poison attacks from Sneasler (can close combat you, nihi might be a better shout) and Muk-Alola and ability to fend off threats like Mega Scizor (wit foul play. Also, add the pranskter stuff here too, as its better than Grimmsnarl due to typing + being able to set hazards at the same time). Its ability, Prankster, allows it to set up screens quickly and almost always set up Spikes for its teammates. This allows for Pokemon like Tapu Bulu and Azumarill to set up and give them the potential to sweep teams. Foul Play prevents Pokemon like Scizor and Mimikyu to set up and sweep your team (Your isnt allowed in analyses, you have to change that). Thunder Wave is able to cripple opponents by paralyzing them and allowing Mega Diancie and Iron Valiant to outspeed threats such as Spectrier and Darmanitan-Galar (its also a last ditch effort in case of something like Char-X getting a DD up against fairy, and dissaudes Nihilego which otherwise 1v1s Klefki anyway since Keys doesnt have anything to hit it with). Setting up spikes creates solid chip for late game sweeping capabilities from its teammates Iron Valiant and (Choice Scarf?) Tapu Lele. Klefki pairs up well with setup sweepers like Azumarill and Iron Valiant as they are able to deal huge amounts of damage while being guarded by Klefki's screens. Azumarill checks Fire-types for Klefki and is able to abuse the Screens that Klefki set up with Belly Drum while threatening Pokemon like Iron Treads and Heatran. Tapu Koko's Electric Terrain prevents Klefki from being put to sleep and helps their teammate in Iron Valiant with Quark Drive. *add mega diancie, as it dissuades the opposing team from setting up hazards alongside keys + beats Heatran/Fires too, which keys no likey

Use the correct format like what Onon did here:

Klefki pairs up well with setup sweepers like Azumarill and Iron Valiant as they are able to deal huge amounts of damage while being guarded by Klefki's screens. (Was already mentioned earlier, so I think you can remove these two lines?) Heya, I'm here to amQC! Feel free to implement the notes below:
  • Where you mention Foul Play, use Mega Scizor instead of Scizor as your example.
  • Mention Tapu Bulu's Grassy Terrain synergizing well with Klefki as it lets it tank Earthquake, which is one of its most common weaknesses, better.
That's all I could find to say! The analysis is very solid, and Neko and Giyu covered everything else ^^
