Knights of the Round

Typically when I make a team I try to combine viability with what I like. I try to make my teams as good as they can be with pokemon I like. I'm open to changing things if I can, though.

Kilgharrah (Noivern) @ Life Orb
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spd / 4 SAtk
Timid Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Super Fang
- Roost
- Taunt

I love this thing. Makes for a good lead. While it gets beat by prankster leads, taunt stops entry-hazards and brings and it has decent enough bulk to actually take a hit from even some super-effective hits (which subsequently roost helps with). I've debated between U-Turn and Dragon Pulse. I like the coverage and power of Dragon Pulse (helps with Gengar switch-ins and other things), also helps finish off things that you hit with super fang. Speaking of, super fang gets consistent damage on non-ghost types and can bring even things like Skarmory and Ferrothorn down by a lot. Dragon/Flying has some key resistances as well, and isn't weak to volt switch like a lot of other leads are.

Titania (Sylveon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Shadow Ball
- Wish

Sylveon is a great special wall. Fairy is a fantastic defensive typing (even more so than water in some ways) calm mind boosts his special stats, wish is great for healing (though it'd love a fifth slot for protect) Ghost/Fairy gets almost perfect coverage and gets perfect coverage on anything that matters in my experience. It's low speed is a bit of a flaw, but it can usually take out something pretty well and walls special attacks.

Gawain (Aegislash) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- King's Shield
- Swords Dance
- Sacred Sword
- Shadow Sneak

Debated a lot between Shadow Sneak and Shadow Claw (still am). Claw gets better damage on certain fire types, but shadow sneak can be good for revenge killing. This set comes down to prediction a lot of the time. The shield stance Aegislash can take an Earthquake and counter back with Sacred Sword on a lot of things. King's Shield makes Aegislash a good physical wall, and can psyche out the opponent. Shield Stance has A LOT of defense so even if they take the opportunity to switch/boost, you can often take the hit and KO back.

Mordred (Absol) @ Absolite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SAtk
Hasty Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Play Rough
- Swords Dance
- Fire Blast

This thing is amazing when it gets going. +2 Absol hits everything really hard, and has great coverage with fairy/dark. Which has just as good coverage as ghost/fairy really. Fire Blast is here for steel walls, and while I've debated switching it with Ice Beam for dragons and gliscor, I think Fire Blast is more useful as more actual walls are steel types. This thing can't take a hit, though, so you need to make sure that when you attack with it, you're going to finish it off. It also doesn't have magic bounce when switching in, which makes things a lot trickier.

Donphan @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Ice Shard
- Stone Edge

I feel like as a defensive wall this compliments the team best, but I'm really not sold on it.

Morgan le Faye (Delphox) @ Leftovers
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Spd / 128 HP / 128 SAtk
Timid Nature
- Mystical Fire
- Psyshock
- Substitute
- Will-O-Wisp

This thing is actually a really good support pokemon and I've had nothing but success with it. People just do not expect it at all. Mystical Fire is a great move. Getting consistent damage on most things while lowering the special attack of things that do not want their special attack dropped. Will-o-Wisp helps cripple physical attackers while sub protects from status. Psyshock does more consistent damage when you need it. Obviously physical walls are a problem, but I have other pokemon on this team that can handle those for the most part.

Now comes the part I am having the most trouble with. Donphan. I'm not sold on it as the sixth member of my team. I've had success with Greninja, but then the team lacks bulk. Donphan fills a lot of what it needs but then it still kind of comes up short against fire and water types. Swampert could work but he isn't available yet and then, again, no spinner. Bulky Starmie's a possibility, but I feel like I need Stealth Rocks.

Okay, so, your team seems pretty solid. I recommend Goodra over Donphan. Specifically, Assault Vest Goodra. It's very bulky, and can dish out some nice hits, too. Something like, Draco Meteor/Dragon Pulse, Sludge Wave, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt/Focus Blast. Max HP and Special Attack. Modest Nature. Good luck!

If you want a physical wall, I suggest the cheating dual screens diancie if you want to battle on ps. Other defensive walls include skarmory and fortress. Your team is solid but has a few problems. Your noivern runs a very defensive set which it doesn't have the bulk to do. Noivern is meant for offense not defense. Give it choice specs with attacking moves and perfection. Do you want sylveon as a attacker or a wall? Also it's defense is pretty bad so having it as a physical wall is a bad idea. Give it full spdef evs and ignore def. pixilate is also useless on it as it has no moves to make use of it. Offensive set I suggest hyper voice, calm mind, hidden power ground and shadow ball/ psyshock. Defensive set(recommended) is wish, toxic, protect and hyper voice. Amazing team other than that. Give Delphox better ev spread if possible. And finish up your 508 evs and perfect ivs if possible
