Introduction:
Honestly, I never really realized why people posted teams that peaked #1 on the ladder for help in RMT. Seriously dude, you already hit #1, you should be able to figure out what to do with the team. I think the teams in the RMT Forum should be the teams that hit between 1500 and 1600, but can't really go any higher because they need help. This is one of those teams.
The team at a glance:
The team in detail:
Crustle is my lead. It almost always gets up at least two layers of hazards, and sometimes can kill an Uxie or Aerodactyl if I stay at high HP. Once it dies, I generally switch ino Uxie so that the screens and hazards are ready for the sweepers. Crustle is actually the newest members of my team, because I just wasn't doing enough damage before it was on the team.
Uxie gets the necessary screens and Memento support that my four sweepers need to set up. Uxie is bulky enough to take hits and setup the screens, then crippling something with Memento and giving a teammate a switch in. Psychic is so Uxie isn't taunt bait, but I've never had to use it so I am open to suggestions for that spot. It also created knowledge and this thread's title.
Gallade is Sweeper Numero Uno. I use him to sweep if the opponent has something that can stop Klinklang, such as Rotom, Magneton, and Ferroseed. Psycho Cut is because Zen Headbutt screws me over a lot and it doesn't get any kills that I've noticed that Psycho Cut doesn't. Shadow Sneak is for priority and can kill most frail things trying to stop the sweep. I use Drain Punch over Close Combat because the recovery can really help and it makes Gallade somewhat useful in Trick Room or when it is paralyzed.
Klinklang is Sweeper Numero Dos and is great against teams without a wall or an electric type. It usually cleans up the team if Gallade dies before screens are up and its counters are gone, but is walled easily because of its subpar coverage. (Random side note: Klinklang should really get drill run because gears ≈ drills and it would make Klinklang awesome)
Hitmonlee is the Quicker Picker Upper. It can hit anything but Ghost types (which it's already screwed against) get a speed bonus, and kill anything left with its awesome attack stat and great coverage. I don't send out Hitmonlee until after screens wear out because it doesn't need them to get its boost.
Entei is the weak link on this team, and is only in this spot as a burn absorber. I want to change Entei to something else that is more threatening, but still can take burns easily.
Threats:
Ghost-types, especially Rotom, resist most of the attacks on the team and usually have Will-o-Wisp to cripple almost everything
Steelix, although it can be weakened by each of the members of the team, usually walls something and kills it.
Conclusion:
Well, this is my team I made trying to test out Hyper Offense, and now I need you guys to help make it better. Give me ideas for anything, especially Entei's spot. Thanks!
Importable: (Almost forgot)
