An incredible asset for Fighting teams, Kommo-o is often the best wincon on the type thanks to Clangorous Soulblaze, which helps it overcome otherwise difficult matchups such as Dragon, Flying, and Water. It is also one of Fighting's best special attackers. Flamethrower takes care of Steel-type Pokemon neutral to Drain Punch like Mega Scizor and Corviknight. Taunt allows Kommo-o to block status moves from defensive Pokemon like Toxapex, Swampert, and Gliscor, preventing them from resetting its boosts with Haze or statusing it with Toxic. Alternatively, Clangorous Soul powers up Kommo-o without using its Z-Move, letting its Clangorous Soulblaze outright OHKO Toxapex and Hippowdon, at the cost of longevity. Bulletproof is Kommo-o's preferred ability to better handle Gholdengo or Aegislash in the Steel matchup, and it improves the Ghost matchup, given the frequency of Shadow Ball. Unboosted Kommo-o's average Speed tier leaves it outsped by threats to Fighting teams like Tornadus-T and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, so Choice Scarf users like Galarian Zapdos and Terrakion are great partners to assist it against them. Iron Valiant's Fairy typing and wide coverage movepool lets it deal with opposing Dragon-types, and it forms a wallbreaking core with Kommo-o by pressuring the likes of Mega Sableye and Ting-Lu. Cobalion and Great Tusk provide Stealth Rock, which maximizes Kommo-o's opportunities to wallbreak after using Clangorous Soulblaze. Great Tusk can also spin so Kommo-o isn't shut down by Toxic Spikes, and Cobalion has the added bonus of checking Fairy-types like Mega Diancie. Mega Gallade can pressure Poison-, Ground-, and Flying-type Pokemon like Toxapex, Ting-Lu, and Landorus-T for Kommo-o. It can also outspeed offensive threats to Kommo-o like Kyurem, Landorus, and Garchomp.

An incredible asset for Fighting teams, Kommo-o is often the best wincon on the type Fighting teams thanks to its Z-move Clangorous Soulblaze giving it an omniboost, which helps and gives it overcome otherwise difficult matchups a good matchup into types such as Dragon, Poison, Flying, and Water. (doesn't automatically give Fighting the MU vs these types, just helps it deal better with them) Flamethrower rounds up Kommo-o's coverage, taking care with its STABs and takes cares of Steel-type Pokemon neutral to Drain Punch like Mega Scizor and Corviknight. The last move can be an option of either Taunt or Clangorous Soul. Taunt allows Kommo-o to block status moves from not allow defensive Pokemon like Toxapex, Swampert, and Gliscor, preventing them from resetting Kommo-o's boosts or statusing it with Toxic. from using Haze to reset Kommo-o's boosts and Toxic. Alternatively, Clangorous Soul further powers up Kommo-o, letting its Clangorous Soulblaze outright OHKO Toxapex and Hippowdon after a boost, at the cost of longevity. gives Kommo-o another omniboost, giving it an even higher damage output but makes it more vulnerable to being phazed out by Pokemon like Hippowdon using Whirlwind and also cuts into a third of Kommo-o's HP. A Naive nature lets Kommo-o outspeed positively-natured base 80s like Mamoswine and Pokemon like Gholdengo and Mega Gyarados without losing Attack to weaken Drain Punch. (I think the nature choice here is pretty obvious; a Bulletproof mention is probably more worth it instead, imo) Kommo-o's average Speed tier leaves it open to being outsped by threats to Fighting teams like Tornadus-T and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, so common Ice-type Pokemon like Galarian Darmanitan and Baxcalibur. (Ice is probably a negligible MU for Fighting and in general) Choice Scarf users like Galarian Zapdos and Terrakion are great partners to assist Kommo-o against them. in that matchup as it is able to outspeed Scarf Darmanitan and Baxcalibur after one Dragon Dance. Iron Valiant's Fairy typing and wide array of coverage options allows it to deal with opposing Dragon-types, and lets it form a wallbreaking core with Kommo-o by pressuring the likes of Mantine and Ting-Lu. (you can be more generalistic here) is Kommo-o's best partner to handle opposing Kommo-o due to its Dragon immunity so it can switch into Clangorous Soulblaze with no issue. Additionally, Iron Valiant is able to threaten bulky phazers like Ting-Lu, who can take any one hit from Kommo-o and phaze it out using Whirlwind if Kommo-o opts to not run Taunt.
(Add Cobalion and Great Tusk as partners that can set Stealth Rock for Kommo-o to wallbreak more efficiently; you can also say Cobalion checks Fairies while GT spins for it to come into the field unscathed)

An incredible asset for Fighting teams, Kommo-o is often the best wincon on the type thanks to Clangorous Soulblaze giving it an omniboost, which helps it overcome otherwise difficult matchups such as Dragon, Poison (likely dont beat poison nowadays due to G.Slowking), Flying, and Water. (its also a spattacker, rare on Fighting) Flamethrower rounds up Kommo-o's coverage, taking care of Steel-type Pokemon neutral to Drain Punch like Mega Scizor and Corviknight. Taunt allows Kommo-o to block status moves from defensive Pokemon like Toxapex, Swampert, and Gliscor, preventing them from resetting Kommo-o's boosts or statusing it with Toxic . Alternatively, Clangorous Soul further powers up Kommo-o, letting its Clangorous Soulblaze outright OHKO Toxapex and Hippowdon after a boost, at the cost of longevity.(bullet proof desc, making Steel matchup a steamroll as Ghold/Aegis cant touch it now bar with z, and is helpful for ghost too) Kommo-o's average Speed tier leaves it open to being outsped by threats to Fighting teams like Tornadus-T and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, so Choice Scarf users like Galarian Zapdos and Terrakion are great partners to assist Kommo-o against them. Iron Valiant's Fairy typing and wide array of coverage options allows it to deal with opposing Dragon-types, and lets it form a wallbreaking core with Kommo-o by pressuring the likes of Mantine and Ting-Lu (swap mantine for something else. Maybe M.Sab?). Cobalion and Great Tusk are also ideal partners for Kommo-o as they provide hazard support with Stealth Rock which lets Kommo-o wallbreaker easier after using the Z-Move. Great Tusk is also able to Rapid Spin away hazards so Kommo-o isn't shut down by Toxic Spikes and Cobalion also has the added bonus of being able to check Fairy-types like Mega Diancie.
*add M.Gallade as its ability to pressure Poison, Ground, and Flying is also great, as with Komm bonking steel with this set, It free to run useful coverage like triple axel instead of Knock offsies. Also outspeeds Kyurem, Lando-I, and some scary threat which would otherise just delete it
