ORAS Ubers kyurem-w hyper offense

hi guys and welcome to my rmt! n_ni have recently built a hyper offense around one of my favorite mons in the ubers metagame, kyurem-white and i tested it a bit and decided to use it for my first RMT i hope you guys enjoy and i hope this team helps all of you

lets start off with the star of the team kyurem-w he provides a decent offensive check to a lot of threats in the meta especially with his dual STAB of ice beam and Draco meteor as well as choice scarf allowing him to outspeed a lot of the unboosted ubers metagame also with access to earth power he can do a decent amount of damage to p.don if need be

Groudon @ Red Orb
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SpD
Relaxed Nature

groudon is here because the meta is centralized around it to set up with stealth rock and switch into offensive threats such as xern or ekiller and it can roar out any unwanted stat boosts on your opponents team (EX: geomancy,shell smash,sd, DD, ect.)

Landorus-Therian @ Choice Scarf

landorus has a big part on my team he has access to earthquake STAB so it can switch into primal don's precipice blades/earthquake then turn around and hit it with its own earthquake.it also provides a decent check to ho-oh with stone edge and provides momentum with u-turn.

Honestly, the hardest part about making the team was choosing a mega evolution,but in the end i ended up settling with mega lucario due to his access to adaptability STAB bullet punch and STAB close combat. the steel STAB is crucial because other than don my team is killed by geoxern and close combat provides decent dmg to a lot of mons in the metagame.

Giratina-Origin @ Griseous Orb
Ability: Levitate

giratina's role is pretty obvious. but if you cant tell his role is to be my defogger while at the same time providing a decent offensive role on my team and to pick off lower hp mons with shadow sneak.

the role of arceus dark is to take care of my teams crippling weakness to mega gengar's shadow ball set and set up to sweep with CM and he also likes to abuse his access to viable recovery and he shakes off pesky toxic stallers with refresh

Hey, cool team you have here, nice to see a team thats different from standard, not much to say but I dont know how I feel about dual scarfers, especially lando and kyu-w, it seems like you could lose momentum if you allow free switchins due to predicitions, Scarfers themselves arent that great in ORAS ubers to begin with, Kyurem-white looks like it can invite Ho-oh and xerneas for free, depending what its choice locked into.

I feel Kyu-w would function much better as a wall breaker with Life orb > Choice scarf. This eases prediction and prevents Ho-oh or xern coming in for free and improves your matchup vs stall. Earth power is kind of wasted coverage now, and allows you to run roost over earth power, increasing kyurem-whites longliveity throughout the game, Fast Ho-oh is 2HKO'd by ice beam with Life orb and a timid nature, turning into a possible OHKO with rocks (you can run modest still, but you lose to max speed postive 90s), though you have lando-t, you have an arceus dark for the lati@s/Gengar so I feel you could easily justify running life orb on kyu-white.

I also feel groudon would benefit from thunder wave over roar to cripple common switch ins such as opposing giratina, Lati@s Support arceus formes, Lugia, Ho-oh , Yveltal and rayquaza all which threaten groudon aswell as crippling the geomancy xerneas throughout the match, checking it more reliabilty in the long run. you have giratina-origin to phaze out already. This helps with your matchup vs offense in general aswell.

I did some testing with this team after running Sleep Talk over Earth Power on Kyurem-W, running Adamant on Mega Lucario, and changing up P Don's moveset. With double scarf, a bulky Dark-type, and other priority Darkrai is certainly beatable, but it makes more sense to just run Sleep Talk on Kyurem-W so you have a dedicated sleep absorber. I felt that the Primal Groudon moveset really doesn't work for this team. Lack of an attacking Rock-type move also serves to make this team even more weak against Ho-Oh since Pokemon like Arceus-Dark and non Stone Edge Lucario are easy places for it to come in. I changed the moveset to SR / SD / Stone Edge / Precipice. The EV spread is 216 Atk / 216 SpD / 76 Spe / Adamant which still checks Geo Xern so long as you hit your Precipice Blades, except now you actually have some attacking power and Speed creep. Most people that run SR + SD P Don run max Speed, but you don't really have enough Xern checks to get away with that. SD was just sort of an idea and not really needed at all since this team has Mega Luke as a stallbreaker so you can probably run like Thunder Wave or Dragon Tail there instead. Adamant on Mega Luke was basically because I needed Bullet Punch to hit harder.

In testing I found this team weak to a few different things, most notably Draco spam, Mega Luke, and EKiller somewhat. Lack of a Fairy-type and your Steel-type being fragile lets things like MixQuaza and Latios just fire off DMs with little to fear which is problematic as both can threaten key members on the team. To check Mega Luke you sorta have to either Intimidate it with Lando and EQ it or Intimidate it down and check it with like P Don or Gira-O. This ties in with EKiller and Xern because to do this means you have to let P Don or Gira-O get significantly damaged. The use of Kyurem-W and Arceus-Dark is what allows opposing Mega Luke to setup. I don't really see an easy way to fix these problems other than just making Kyurem-W into Scarf Xern, which fixes some of the other problems but not really the Mega Luke / EKiller concern. My version of Kyurem-W offense uses Mega Mence and Arc Ghost alongside LO Kyurem but you could also use that with Scarf Kyurem-W and Geo Xern. You could also turn this into a Ho-Oh bulky offense but that still requires lots of restructure.

Summary:
- Run Sleep Talk over Earth Power on Kyurem-W
- Run a move offensive P Don EV spread and moveset
- Consider running an Adamant nature on Lucario
- Consider using Scarf Xerneas over Kyurem-W
- Explore other offense arrangements with Kyurem-W that have different Megas and Arc forms
 
Hey dude, nice and fresh team, just a few things I noticed
You are heavily xerneas weak if it has setup already and groudon has been worn out( which ain't much difficult to do as it has no recovery and with lucario's bp you only do about
-252 Atk Adaptability Mega Lucario Bullet Punch vs. 184 HP / 28 Def Xerneas: 196-232 (44.6 - 52.8%) -- 21.9% chance to 2HKO
And after that you have nothing to revenge it.

Also I have noticed that you have lando mainly for pdon and ho-oh, Then why not add a good old defensive yveltal, it beats most pdon, ekiller, aegislash, taunt versions beat so much stufflike ferro and pink blobs, But it will add to your xern weakness.
So I have another option you can use latias/latios over giratina to check primals and defog, and just add aegislash over lando-t so that you don't have any problems with xern.Standard smogon set will work pretty well.

And last but not least, I would recommend you using specs kyurem though, I have myself used it to lots of success, and reliably OHKOES pdon with draco, so that you could use sleep talk over earth power to OHKO darkrai, and specs ice beam has literally 0 switch-ins, in whole tier even ho-oh gets 2 hkoed(80% of time lol).
And it also stands tall in most primal wars too. Just try it out I know you will lose a some speed in the team but power will make up for it.
