[SET COMMENTS]
Kyurem-W takes advantage of the lack of sturdy special walls to OHKO or 2HKO nearly the entire metagame with Boomburst. The remaining moves are for the rare very bulky Ice-type resistances. Volt Switch pivots out of checks like Ice Scales Zamazenta-C and Solgaleo while eventually chipping them into Boomburst KO range and does solid damage to Water-types like Toxapex and Milotic. Earth Power hits bulky Steel-types like Zamazenta-C, Solgaleo, and Ice Scales Melmetal. Blue Flare is a stronger alternative that OHKOes Melmetal, but it is blocked by Flash Fire. Extreme Speed lets Kyurem-W threaten Normalize Dragapult and revenge kill weakened faster foes like Zamazenta and Zeraora. Trick cripples opposing defensive Pokemon. Rapid Spin is an option to clear entry hazards, but Kyurem-W is susceptible to all forms of entry hazards and it is extremely poor to be locked into Rapid Spin. Dynamax Cannon can be used as a secondary STAB option to hit Dynamax Pokemon and Water-types harder. A positive Speed nature is necessary to outspeed base 90 Speed Pokemon such as Zekrom and Reshiram.
Kyurem-W pairs well with strong physical wallbreakers like Zacian-C, Choice Band Zamazenta, and Galarian Darmanitan-Z that take advantage of special walls like Zamazenta-C and Ice Scales Pokemon that it lures in and pivots out of with Volt Switch. In return, Kyurem-W helps pressure checks to these Pokemon such as Melmetal and Eternatus. Bulky walls like Melmetal, Fur Coat Seismitoad, and Golisopod help check faster offensive threats like Zacian-C and Zamazenta that threaten Kyurem-W and can also provide slow pivoting support to safely bring it in. A Pokemon that can check Imposter that has transformed into Kyurem-W is necessary; some possibilities include Ice Scales Zamazenta-C, Ice Scales or Levitate Solgaleo, and Volt Absorb Gigantamax Lapras. If Blue Flare is chosen over Earth Power, Imposter-proofing can be done with Fire-types like Darmanitan-Z or Flash Fire Steel-types like Zamazenta-C. Entry hazard removal is very helpful, since Kyurem-W is weak to Stealth Rock and susceptible to all forms of entry hazards, which can cause it to be put in KO range of attacks from attackers such as Choice Specs Lunala. Pokemon like Defog Melmetal or Zamazenta-C and Magic Bounce Eternatus can keep entry hazards off effectively.

[SET COMMENTS]
Toxic Orb in conjunction with Poison Heal provides passive recovery for Kyurem-W, allowing it to repeatedly switch in and check Pokemon such as Zekrom and Reshiram lacking a Dragon-type STAB move, as well as passive Pokemon like Toxapex and Umbreon that rely on status and chip damage to wear down attackers, although Kyurem-W is still highly susceptible to entry hazards, especially Stealth Rock. Earth Power provides excellent coverage alongside Ice Beam, hitting Steel- and Fire-types such as Melmetal and Galarian Darmanitan-Z. Volt Switch is an option to chip Water-types and gain momentum, pairing well with Nasty Plot. Quiver Dance provides a reliable boosting option to potentially sweep, while Shell Smash provides more immediate offensive presence at the cost of being more difficult to setup safely and Kyurem-W losing its ability to defeat Imposter users alone. Nasty Plot is an option that provides strong wallbreaking power without compromising Kyurem-W's bulk, although the lack of Speed boosts can leave it susceptible to faster offensive Pokemon such as Zacian-C, and similarly to Shell Smash, it leaves Kyurem-W more vulnerable to Imposter users. Spikes is a great option to take advantage of switches and chip down checks such as Steel-types. Spore cripples an opposing Pokemon, creating opportunities to set up and also letting Kyurem-W beat Imposter users. Nuzzle provides a speed control option for Nasty Plot sets and can also let Kyurem-W fish for full paralysis to gain free turns.
This Kyurem-W set can Imposter-proof several passive Pokemon to prevent Imposter users from PP stalling and freely recovering, as it is immune to status and Poison Heal mitigates chip damage. Examples of such passive Pokemon include defensive Sludge Bomb Eternatus and Mandibuzz. Bulky walls like Melmetal, Fur Coat Seismitoad, and Golisopod help check faster offensive threats like Zacian-C, Galarian Darmanitan-Z, and Zamazenta that threaten Kyurem-W and can also provide slow pivoting support, which can give Kyurem-W free turns of Poison Heal recovery. If Spikes is run, a Pokemon like Magic Bounce Golisopod that can prevent transformed Imposter from laying down Spikes is very helpful, and they can also check Imposter if Kyurem-W's health is too low. Strong wallbreakers such as Choice Band Zamazenta and Zeraora provide immediate offensive presence to pressure checks like Steel- and Water- types, including Zamazenta-C and Golisopod. In return, Kyurem-W provides Spikes or paralysis support, switches in against their checks such as Fur Coat Seismitoad, and also absorbs crippling status conditions. A Timid nature is necessary to outspeed Zekrom and Reshiram unboosted and Zacian-C at +1.
