[OVERVIEW]

Landorus-Therian is one of the most consistently dominant Pokémon in competitive play thanks to its Ground/Flying typing, Intimidate ability, and incredible versatility. It can act as a bulky pivot, a Stealth Rock setter wearing a Rocky Helmet, or a powerful physical attacker with a Choice Scarf, using moves like Earthquake, U-turn, Stone Edge, and Grass Knot and sometimes even Tera Blast Flying to pressure opponents and maintain momentum (it can also run Smack Down to beat Moltres and Zapdos on Defensive sets). Its immunity to Electric and Ground attacks and ability to weaken physical threats make it an excellent defensive tool, while its base 145 Attack lets it threaten offensively. However, it’s held back by a 4× weakness to Ice, vulnerability to Water moves, and lack of reliable recovery. Even so, its ability to compress roles providing both utility and have made Landorus-Therian a staple in nearly every metagame, especially in the OU tier, where it remains a top-tier pick for balanced and bulky offensive teams alike. Its major checks include Corviknight and Skarmory and it's countered by Kyurem , Darkrai , Weavile , Ogerpon-Wellspring and Walking Wake. With the defensive set Lando-T can wall physical threats and wear them down with its Rocky Helmet and even these defensive sets can run Grass Knot to get surprising kills on Great Tusk and chipped Dondozo. With its Choice Scarf set it can pick surprising kills on mons it usually slower for example Ogerpon-Wellspring which threatens it with its Ivy Cudgel. But Choice Scarf Lando-T can immediately dispose it off with its Tera Blast Flying. Overall Lando-T is one of the best Pokémon in the competitive OU tier both as a defensive presence and as an offensive presence.
