Kyurem-W is able to take hits from unboosted Landorus-T and is able to OHKO it with its super effective Ice-type moves.

**Kyogre**: Kyogre is able to OHKO Landorus-T without any problem with Ice Beam. Choice Scarf Kyogre can outspeed Landorus-T without any boosts and OHKO with Water Spout. However, all variants of Kyogre can be OHKOed by a +2 Life Orb-boosted Max Quake from Landorus-T, somewhat reducing its effectiveness as a check.

On hyper offense, Shuckle can be useful in setting up Sticky Web and Stealth Rock, allowing Shuckle's Sticky Web and Stealth Rock can allow Landorus-T to comfortably set itself up and outspeed fast foes like Zacian-C, Choice Scarf Kyogre, and offensive Eternatus without relying on Max Airstream. In return, Landorus's access to Explosion allows it to Landorus-T's Explosion can block Defog attempts, helping Shuckle's webs Sticky Web to stay up as long as possible.

An Adamant nature allows Landorus-T to deal more damage, (AC) but it is then unable to outspeed Pokemon such as Timid Calyrex-S, Adamant Zacian-C, and Choice Scarf Kyogre at +1 Speed, (AC) allowing them to revenge kill it reliably.
