Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Grass Knot

Landorus-T establishes itself as a top-tier Pokemon in OU, utilising a Choice Scarf set to become a powerful revenge killer and speed control option! Choice Scarf allows Landorus-T to outspeed the entirety of the unboosted metagame bar Deoxys-Speed. Stone Edge hits Flying-types such as Zapdos, Dragonie, and Moltres that might otherwise switch into Earthquake, while Grass Knot targets Great Tusk for massive damage. Tera Ground boosts the power of Earthquake to astonishing levels, allowing Landorus-T to OHKO Dragapult and Darkrai after Stealth Rock. Choice Scarf Landorus-T fits primarily on bulky offense teams, who love its ability to soft check various physical attackers such as Zamazenta and Kingambit, while helping against faster threats such as Darkrai and Cinderace. Galarian Slowking is a great partner to Landorus-T, as Galarian Slowking can check Pokemon such as Kyurem and Walking Wake that Landorus-T might struggle with, while Landorus-T can threaten out Pokemon such as Iron Crown and Gholdengo that Galarian Slowking might struggle to damage. Special wallbreakers such as Kyurem and Raging Bolt also love pairing with Landorus-T, as U-turn can get them in easily to start wallbreaking against common switch ins such as Great Tusk, Alomomola, and Corviknight that Landorus-T might otherwise struggle with.

Landorus-T reclaims its role as a top-tier Pokemon in OU, (I feel this makes it sound like Choice Scarf is the set that put it back on the map, rather than just another option for a good mon. Maybe try something else here?) utilising a Choice Scarf set to become a powerful revenge killer and speed control option! Choice Scarf allows Landorus-T to outspeed the entirety of the unboosted metagame bar Deoxys-Speed. Stone Edge hits Flying-types such as Zapdos, Dragonite, and Moltres for considerable damage (flavor text) that might otherwise switch into Earthquake, while Grass Knot targets Great Tusk for massive damage. Tera Ground boosts the power of Earthquake to astonishing levels, allowing Landorus-T to 2HKO Great Tusk and Ogerpon-W after Stealth Rock. (Not sure if those calcs are astonishing, specially since you have Grass Knot for Tusk. Perhaps something like threaten to OHKO Dragapult and Darkrai could work? Not married to either mention) Choice Scarf Landorus-T fits primarily on bulky offense teams, who love its ability to soft check various physical attackers such as Zamazenta and Kingambit, while helping against faster threats such as Darkrai and Cinderace. Pivot Pokemon such as Galarian Slowking and Corviknight pair well with Landorus-T, as they can form pivot cores that can help chip down opponents, while helping wall Pokemon such as Iron Valiant and Ogerpon-W that Landorus-T might struggle with. (I would avoid Corviknight, not a very common partner. Maybe it would be a good idea to change this part to focus on Galarian Slowking. Its also often featured with AV, rather than just as a pivot, which could let you mention Pokemon that more naturally check Landorus-T such as Kyurem and Walking Wake, rather than Valiant. Furthermore, you could mention Pokemon that Landorus can threaten for it such as Gholdengo and Iron Crown) Special wallbreakers such as Kyurem and Primarina Raging Bolt also love pairing with Landorus-T, as U-turn can get them in easily to start wallbreaking against common switch ins such as Great Tusk, Alomomola, and Corviknight that Landorus-T might otherwise struggle with.
