Whereas Salac Berry helps Landorus-T outspeed Pokemon like Spectrier and Tornadus-T, which can otherwise revenge kill it, and makes it a great fit on hyper offense teams, Leftovers on slower-paced teams gives Landorus-T better longevity. Landorus-T also employs Substitute to avoid status moves from Pokemon like opposing Landorus-T and Hippowdon, scout switches from foes it forces out like Heatran and Nidoking, and reliably activate Salac Berry. Dual screens users like Regieleki and Tapu Koko work well alongside Landorus-T to provide it both an easier way of setting up and getting in. Other offensive sweepers like Hawlucha and Kartana appreciate Landorus-T's ability to force damage on Flying-types like Zapdos and Mandibuzz, which would otherwise inhibit their sweeping potential.
