Laptop for Christmas?

Consider Dell as an option

The Inspiron 15 series is quite cheapish if you have your security and Office CD already, mine cost me £750 + though, but you can get a decent one for $600 im sure.

if you really want to be different, maybe an IBM iono

I don't have the money or the time for that. Fuck. Well, I guess I need to wait another year to actually game again.

Edit: instead of MW2, will the video card be able to run COD4 and COD5? If they can, I'll buy it. I know that my power supply can run it, so it's okay.
MW2 is on basically the same engine as COD4 and COD5 so no.

If you have a PCI-Express slot, you could try this:

Price match at NCIX to save on shipping and just pick it up.

Mine is just PCI Express x16. will it work? And what PSU will I need?

Edit: Nvm. It says that I need 400W. I know my HP a1747c probably doesn't have that kind of a PSU. If I get a new PSU will this work? (I know that my tower is micro ATX)

Edit2: Nvm again. I now know that the card can run on my PCI Express x16 slot. And I now have found out that my computer's PSU is 300 watts. Do you recommend me getting a new PSU, or just getting the card, because I frankly am not that good with computers, and all I can do is "stick in video card, stick in cord, close case, pray it runs"

If you're getting a new power supply, you can get a better card. How much is your budget. I think you'll be fine with that card without upgrading your PSU. If you're getting Modern Warfare 2, this is your cheapest price:

Like I said, order them both for in-store pickup at NCIX since they're located in BC. No shipped that way.

My budget is very low... for the video card, I am willing to spend that much, but for the PSU (I already found one), it's 30 bucks. So 100 dollars in total. THe PSU is 550W, and I know it can fit into my computer, because my friend had the exact same computer as I did, with the same mobo, and build, and he got that exact PSU to upgrade his comp.
