XY Doubles Last chance to get changes

Hello again Smogon people and let me thank you for reading this now. I've been posting my team in the past and now i think i finally have a good team. Or at least a half way decent team.

TalonFlame @ /Leftovers
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: Atk: 252/ Spd: 252/ HP: 4
Jolly Nature
-Brave Bird
-U-Turn
-protect/Roost
-Tailwind

This is usually part of my main set up because of Gale Wings ability and Tailwind combo. So I can use Tailwind on turn 1 to boost my team's speed for 5-7 turns. Plus even if i fight a trick room team I have Brave Bird to attack first. Now I'm not sure whether or not I should have Protect or Roost, seeing as that if i use Protect I retain the health I have, but if I use Roost I can heal 50% of my total health and attempt to live longer. My last move, U-Turn is use to I can retreat after tailwind has been used.

Goodra @ Damp Rock
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 SpDef/ 252 HP/ 4 SpAtk
Calm Nature
-Rain Dance
-Protect
-Infestation
-Dragon Pulse

This Pokemon is also used as a set up Pokemon. My hope is that after turn one Tailwind will allow Goodra to use Rain Dance so I can avoid getting hut by special effects like Paralyses, Burn, or Poison. Protect is kind of obvious. Infestation, which everyone seems to question, is used in replace of Toxic so that they can't escape and they take damage every turn and it can not be return.

Charizard_MegaX_XY.gif

Charizard @ Charizardite x
Ability: Blaze(Tough Claws)
EVs: Atk: 252/ Spd: 252/ HP: 4
Adamant Nature
-Dragon Claw
-Flare Blitz
-Arial ace
-Earthquake

This is my primary choice for a Mega evolved Pokemon, depending on the situation, even with rain. Dragon Claw and Flare Blitz are pretty obvious as well, I think and if you don't tell me in the revue. Now, Arial ace never missed and makes contact and if I can't mega up it up at least I get a stab bonus. Earthquake is to cover my rock weakness and because it's earthquake.

MegaLucario_XY.gif

Lucario @ Lucarioite
Ability: Steadfast(Adaptability)
EVs: Spd: 252/ SpAtk: 252/ SpDef: 4
Timid Nature
-Aura Sphere
-Dark Pulse
-Flash Cannon
-Protect

This other Mega evolution is used for fighting something like tyranitar teams. Aura Sphere is there as an Adaptability boosted, Never missing, Decently powered move. Dark Pulse is there as a way to counter Psychic types. Flash Cannon is there as an Adaptability boosted, 100% accuracy, Decently powered, Fairy busting move. Protect, again, is obviously there to stal.

Heliolisk.gif

Heliolisk @ Shell Bell
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: Spd: 252/ SpAtk: 252/ HP: 4
Timid Nature
- Parabolic Charge
- Thunder
- Surf
- Protect

The usual follow up to either Talonflame or if one of the other setup Pokemon feint. Thunder never misses in rain. Surf is there to cover my weakness to ground and hits the whole field. Parabolic Charge is my short of regeneration move. It does 50 damage base plus stab to every Pokemon on the field. My regeneration of health is covered good considering that, on a good day, I can hit each Pokemon and return to full health. Protect is here because i can stall and regain health from the Rain Dance.

dugtrio49oe.gif

Dugtrio @ Focus Sash
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: Spd: 252/ Atk: 252/ HP: 4
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Sucker Punch
- Substitute
- Protect

FINALLY!! This is the last Pokemon to write up about real quick. Earthquake is there for stab and power. Sucker Punch is there to cover my partner, usually Lucario, from Meowstic and Gengar. Substitute Is there to last longer and deal damage freely, and Protect is the to stall.

Thank you for looking at this. Please rate soon, and Please don't just criticize, leave ways to correct my mistakes.

Talonflame should be adamant, not Jolly for a start. I would use protect over roost on it also. I would completely remove Goodra, as he has nothing to make him good enough. He is a special staller, and in a doubles match, they will usually have a physical attacker out, which can one shot it. Instead, i would use Politoed. I will find a suggested set for him soon. Next, Charizard X on a rain team? I think not. As a similar 'hard hitting' mega, you should use Gyarados or Mawile. Both are intimidaters, and when they mega evolve, they get new, better abilities. Gyarados is fast, Mawile is bulky, they both hit like a truck, basically. Parabolic charge is a HORRIBLE choice. I would use Hidden Power Ice instead, but get rid of it. That is all, although it is still a GREAT team.
